De locatie is net even buiten het centrum Willemstad (20 minuten lopen), maar alles is prima te bereiken. Er is een supermarkt dichtbij, en ook een paar prima restaurantjes. Het is altijd aangenaam koel, en er zijn plafondventilatoren in de kamers. Het ontbijt is goed - je kan lekker zelf een vers eitje bakken/koken, keukenmateriaal is allemaal aanwezig daarvoor. De eigenaar en werknemers zijn ontzettend gastvrij, vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en je krijgt elke dag tips over wat er te doen is in de omgeving.

Monumentale pand; kleurrijk. Mijn kamertje had geen tafel; heb een stoel voor gebruikt. Neem vooral oordopjes mee! Erg gehorig! Voor de rest redelijk B&B.

Otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam var den unge mannen som checkade in oss, även innan vi var på plats. Stället ligger i mindre trevliga delar av staden, vi skulle bott två nätter men blev försenade så det blev bara en, vilket vi var ganska glada över. För priset är det ok, rätt slitet o inte så fräscht. Vill man ha billigt tak över huvudet o inte stora krav på komfort är det rätt plats.

Charming and a nice option for a small budget!

The rooms are basic and quite dark and because of the inevitable heat on Curacao, I really would suggest to opt for a room with airconditioning. Breakfast is simple, secured parking is great (you really should rent a car) and the Dutch family who owns this B&B will go out of their way to accommodate you. All in all, a safe bet!

Un lugar pintoresco, limpio y de personas agradables, me dieron la información necesaria para conocer la isla. Lugar cerca al centro donde pasa el trasporte público. A mi parecer solo deben de cambiar el ingreso del hotel a la avenida. Mucha suerte!!

Cozy little gem

Had a wonderful stay at this B and B. Host was very gracious and friendly. Located within walking distance of many attractions. Host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She is very knowledgeable about the area. Her recommendations were spot on. Saw many things we would have missed out on otherwise. The car rental right on sight, as well as the breakfast boxes were very convenient. Cooking facilities are very well equipped. Couldn’t have picked a better place. Thank you Aster for making our stay so wonderful. Would highly recommend this gem.

Aster was very helpful and gave so much information and tips to us on places to eat, visit, etc. She really helped us plan our trip and we wouldn't have known to visit as many places without her! thank you for an awesome stay!! Only thing to be aware of is that there is a cemetery right next to the b&b. We didn't have a problem with being near the cemetery but got some curious looks when an excursion bus picked us up, LOL! the breakfast is delicious and consists of their own fresh farm eggs!

Very friendly staff and owners

From check in to check out our 3 day stay was great. It seemed to attract great guests as well. Having the common kitchen and dinning room gave way to endless possibilities for social gatherings and cooking for yourself should you choose. Even though a simple breakfast is provided, all the essential as provided in the kitchen to prepare meals and a large full size refrigerator and freezer to keep stuff in. Due to hi cab cost they offer a shuttle that is cheaper and ontime to and from the airport. They can arrange tours to the attractions on the island that will pick you up at your door. Right on the bus route should you be adventurous to roam on your own. Mamba Beach and other beachs are easily reached from there or even a walk into town.

KLEINES FAMILIÄR GEFÜHRTES HOSTEL

Jedes Zimmer verfügt über eine eigene Dusche, Toilette und kleines Waschbecken. Im gemeinsamen Frühstückraum lassen sich leicht Kontakte knüpfen. Mit dem Bus erreicht man für zwei "Güldas" schnell das Zentrum oder geht die 15 leicht bergab. Das HOstel verleiht selbst zwei Fahrzeuge mit denen die Insel gut zu erkunden ist. SEhenswert die wunderbaren Strände an der Westküste Grote Knip, BAs Abou und Bluebay oder die Flamingos bei Willywood oder die Schildkröten bei Piscadeur. Srachen: Englisch, Holländisch, Spanisch - nur wenige Deutsche.

Gezellig Hostel vlakbij centrum Willemstad

Ik heb een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit Hostel. De ontvangst was hartelijk met gelijk een kleine rondleiding door het Hostel. Mijn kamer was ruim en zag er netjes en schoon uit. De verzorging was prima, evenals het ontbijt dat elke morgen voor mij klaarstond. Een supermarkt en restaurant om de hoek. De bushalte was vlakbij, maar ook te voet zijn er mogelijkheden voor vermaak. Ik voelde me helemaal thuis bij deze zeer gastvrije mensen!

Best hostel in Curaçao

We travelled for 6 month all over the world (13 countries). In this time we never had such a heartily, harmony, trustworthy place like in this hostel. The two bosses are so kindful and friendly!! The best two people on the whole island :-). They are well organized and the hostel stays clean and is very cozy and familiar. We loved it!

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Wir wohnten 13 Nächte im La Creole. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Elisa war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns bei der Klärung von Komplikationen bezüglich des Heimfluges sehr unterstützt. Die Innenstadt war per Minibus problemlos erreichbar, aber auch zu Fuß haben wir uns spät abends immer sicher gefühlt.

Nice place to stay

Had a great time staying here. Added bonus was the breakfast boxes every morning. Can be quite expensive eating out all the time. Small grocery store nearby with basic products. Walking distance to town.

Super hostel met ongedwonge sfeer

Een prima verblijf. Eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Schoon en netjes. De patio is echt een pluspunt!! Lieve rustige honden die de accommodatie "bewaken", ha, ha. Ligt aan een doorgaande, drukke straat die je wel hoort. Wij hadden er geen last van, maar andere bewoners wel. De laatste die naar bed gaat heeft de verantwoordelijkheid om de buitendeuren op slot te doen.
