“This was a cute little place, off the main road enough to feel like it was in the sticks but not so far that it actually was; it’s really only about a 3-minute drive from the main part of town and very close to the grocery store in case you need a few forgotten things. Location in relation to Mt. Rainier was excellent, we couldn’t have asked for better. The cabin is a bit old which is fine except for two things: the first was the dishwasher. “What a fun kitchen to cook in while being surrounded by all of my friends and family. The main living space is PERFECT for a get together. Being an early bird, I typically wake up early and sit on the deck, but my bed was so comfy that I decided to lay there and watch the sunrise from our room instead. “This small cabin is clean, comfortable, and close to Packwood for easy access to the nearby river, the town, and local restaurants. don't miss Mountain Goat Coffee and Cruiser's, a pretty good pizza and burger restaurant.There are two comfy bedrooms, one has twin beds, and a modern bathroom, all comfortably air-conditioned. A hot tub on the front porch looks inviting but we didn't use it as it was too hot.And GREAT proximity to Rainier entrances and the area hiking is spectacular esp. in July……
