“The property is very welcoming, quaint and clean! The decorations are adorable, the outside fire pit is perfect for s’mores, and the kitchen is well equipped with basic needs. The hosts were very welcoming and answered any questions I had. My friends and I stayed here to hike the park - it’s about an hour drive to the closest entrance. The little town with the restaurants and bars near the property are very cute and tasty! I would highly recommend this property for a place to stay ! ”

“Cowlitz Manor was what we hoped for - perfect for our family of 4. The house is as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. The beds were incredibly comfortable! Being on the Cowlitz river and being to cross the road and walk up to it as well as the view from the gigantic balcony and outdoor couches made for a soothing stay. The drive to the town of Packwood was super easy too as was our hike to Lake Packwood (highly recommend). The accessibility to Mt. Rainier Park (we visited Sunrise and……

“great place”

“This Packwood house was a perfect place for a Mt Ranier hiking trip. We were well situated behind and near the restaurants in town and were less than a 20 minute drive to the Steven's Canyon entrance into the national park. The yard was full of fruit trees and bushes, which both we and the neighboring elk families enjoyed. The patio deck was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the perfect weather and nice scenery.
