“This is my familys second time staying at Lisa's property. Each time the cabin has been clean, well stocked, and no issues whatsoever. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and the property itself is special. From the relaxation under the canopy of trees, to the pool and creek access, there is plenty for a family to do. We look forward to our next annual trip!”

“Pros: clean, comfortable and convenient to attractions in the area. Check in was easy and property owner was quick to respond with questions. Things to consider: driveway was steep (best for 4wd or AWD, Bedrooms were on opposite ends of the trailer (my clingy child did NOT like that), Smelled slightly musty upon entering (I lit a smelly candle to counter), Water smelled like rotten eggs. Considering all, we would stay again in the future. ”

“We had the best time at Jay's place in Harpers Ferry. The house was great, check in was easy. We had 4 kids - ages 1 - 5 and the property was really kid friendly, with a nice backyard and space for playing in the house. The bedrooms were spacious and the whole house was clean and stocked. The location was AMAZING. We could walk everywhere in town; parks, coffee shops, restaurants, historic sites, etc. Definitely recommend!”

“Beautiful genuine log cabin. Clean and decorated with antique style art . Quiet, the Mitsubishi air conditioning worked great. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The directions for the entry and WiFi were simple to follow.The steps upstairs were steep, there were nice handholds to keep you safe. Loved it.”

“The setting is peaceful and beautiful. The property has a rich history. The house has a lot of quirky character and exploring it is a trip within itself. We have stayed in several places in WV but this one is currently our favorite.”

“Great place to stay. Our whole family was able to be together and spend quality time with one another. It was comfortable and welcoming! It was so helpful to have a stocked kitchen, large table (big enough for everyone to eat around), and a washer and dryer. The game room was an added bonus! The trail around the house was really the only place to explore near the house. The roads are narrow, so walking or biking were not safe. However, the town was 10-15 minutes away and allowed for many……

“We absolutely loved all the antiques displayed. My friend and I were in our glory looking through the house and all of the antiques. It was a step back in time. We would recommend some nice rockers or good seating for the front porch. We wanted to sit outside and relax when we got there, but it wasn’t really set up on the porch with comfy seating for 4. ”
