Nightly rate is for two guests. We charge an additional $15.00 per guest per night fee.
Living room/kitchen have open floor plan allowing a smooth flow throughout. (THE LIVING-ROOM IS EQUIPT WITH A PULL OUT SLEEPER SOFA “FULL”)
The family can gather around the cozy fireplace which is open to the kitchen/ dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and all new appliances including Keurig, toaster, blender and microwave.
The master bedroom has queen bed, an ensuite bathroom and TV. Second bedroom has full bed and TV. Third bedroom upstairs is a loft area and has two twin beds, TV with area to play games and a reading nook.
Laundry room is equipped with full size washer and dryer for your convenience. The house is smoke free and pet free.
Located on a corner lot with a private patio equipped with gas grill and a spacious back yard. Also, featuring a fire pit to enjoy smores and roast hotdogs by the fire with the family. (Firewood is provided).

Wonderful Home away from Home

Perfect for visiting the Ark Encounter

Perfect little house for visiting the Ark Encounter, which is just a couple of miles away. House was very clean and had all of the essentials we needed for our 4 night stay. Our 12 year old son really enjoyed the loft area. Owners are right next door, which adds to the comfort. Would highly recommend.

The Perfect Rental

It was so nice to meet Stacey and Tammy. They are very welcoming and kind. You could tell how much they love their rental home and neighborhood. The house itself has been beautifully updated and had such a cozy feel. It was located within minutes of the Ark and just a short drive to Cincinnati. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Beautifully simple, clean and cozy home. Love the interior design and well functioning of the spaces. Thought of everything we needed. Wonderful amenities. Worked well for 8 of us! We came from 3 different states to meet up for Ark Encounter and this was a great choice. Wonderful memories made.

Perfect House!

We have stayed at so many rentals, but never a place as clean and spotless as this. The owner is easy to contact and so helpful. The owner has thought of everything you will need from snacks to games. If you are going to The Ark, you can be there within 5 minutes. I can't wait to come back and stay again!

Amazing little place to stay in Williamstown

This house was great for me and family to stay at while visiting visiting ark. It's only a mile from the ark and the people who own this property live next door. It was great. If you ever need anything they just run it right over. This house comes with everything. All you need is your clothes.

Home Away from Home

This is a beautiful home. It is decorated in a way that gives it a homy feel. It has everything you need & more, books, games, snacks. It is so clean! The owners were super easy to communicate with. They left the lights on for us because we were running late! I would def recommend staying here.

My husband and I traveled to Kentucky for the beginning of our honeymoon. We stayed at Southern Sunset for 3 nights. A beautiful, quaint, and cozy home. Stacey and Tracy were great people and their communication was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. We would definitely recommend Southern Sunset to anyone traveling to Kentucky…especially to visit the Ark Encounter as it was super close.

Well appointed, clean and convenient!

We were two families who came to town to visit the Ark. the home is so close to the Ark we could’ve come home for lunch! It is kept very clean, the linens are all new and fresh, the homeowners were very communicative and left us extra sheets/firewood. The kids loved the yard, the firepit, the games and the adorable loft area. The adults loved the comfortable beds and convenience of a nicely stocked kitchen/laundry. We will be sure to recommend this home to others! Thanks Stacey and Tammy!

What a lovely little house!

I brought the family in for some Kentucky fun. The house was just lovely. Would recommend for any family with kids because the upstairs is just perfect for little ones to play. It was a bit small for 6 adults and 2 children but only because the kids take up so much space. Lol…. But just a really nice and clean place to stay. Would highly recommend! Elizabeth from Ohio.
