Located among the many attractions of downtown and within an easy drive to the beaches, this historic yet modern home makes for the perfect spot to enjoy everything Wilmington has to offer. And if you just want to escape and relax, you have private access to the beautiful pool oasis right outside your back door. (The pool is not heated and generally too cold to be in from late September through mid-May, but the pool remains open and the pool area can be enjoyed year round.)
The historic but completely renovated home includes a comfortable living room, a dining room that seats eight, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large back deck. The two bedrooms each have their own en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. Additional sleeping is available on the fold-out sofa in the living room. The front porch, deck, courtyard, and private pool areas offer great outdoor space for enjoying coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening, as well as a great place to soak up the sun or lounge in the shade!
All of historic downtown Wilmington is an easy walk from the house. There is off-street parking for two vehicles. All linens and towels are provided, including pool and beach towels.
This home is not only in a prime location to enjoy Wilmington, but has everything you need to make for a relaxing getaway!
Because of the outdoor space, guests often want to invite others over to join them. Small gatherings are permitted, but we ask that you inform us first if anyone not staying at the house is coming over. The house is in a residential neighborhood and we ask that our guests be courteous of our neighbors. Therefore, we don’t allow groups of more than 12 and ask hosts to monitor noise levels, particularly after 9:00pm.
Please note that we are no longer able to accommodate pets in our home.
