Rio De Los Suenos is the perfect hill country destination in every season. The two story main house offers an enormous, fully equipped kitchen featuring marble counter tops, large island, drawer microwave and Wolf oven. Enjoy your meals in the elegant formal dining area containing an oversized, solid wood dining table. The living area however, is the best spot in the house! With amenities including a wood burning fireplace and a flat screen TV, you will easily find this to be everyone’s favorite hangout room. Also residing downstairs is the master suite with plush king size bed and master bathroom providing you separate vanities, claw foot bathtub and steam shower. As you climb up to the second floor, you will find 3 more bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a loft with twin beds.
As you explore the guesthouse, you find that it is not your average guesthouse. Although you enter on the ground level, this is an elevated guesthouse that resides on the second floor. Enter into the very spacious living area with hard wood floors, flat screen TV, and French doors that lead out to a huge balcony with tons of seating. This guesthouse also offers a uniquely convenient feature, another large and fully equipped kitchen! Just down the hall is a master bedroom with a king size bed, second bedroom with two queen beds, and a full bathroom.
Stroll right down to the Blanco River and soak in the beauty of the crystal clear water. Not only does the river run right along the banks of your back yard but, the kids will think having their very own “river island” is the highlight of their vacation! Cross over the sturdy, concrete bridge to find yourself on a beautiful section of land surround by the cool blue waters on all sides.

This house is amazing. SO BEAUTIFUL inside, the decorations are amazing. The kitchen is very well stocked (bring oils and spices though). There are 2 fridges and even a separate drink drawer in the bar area. The air conditioning kept up. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The rooms are nice and spacey and quiet. Lots of deer all through out the day. Be sure to have closed toe shoes on outside, we saw a tarantula and lots of little scorpions (outside!).

Wonderful Property with a Few Considerations

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The serene atmosphere, abundant wildlife, and well-equipped kitchen made our experience truly enjoyable. Plus, there’s a Keurig in the pantry for coffee lovers. However, we encountered a couple of challenges. The guest house lacked A/C on the first day and night, which was uncomfortable given the heat. Thankfully, it was fixed by late morning on Friday, but it took the entire day to cool down. Our friends still managed to sleep there that night, though. Regarding the river, the pictures can be deceiving. Despite recent rain across Texas, the water level was surprisingly low, and the river was quite warm. Keep this in mind if you’re expecting a water-centric experience. The only other access to the river near the house is private property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it’s essential to set realistic expectations. 😊

Family wedding weekend

Property was lovely, however the water supply for the guest house above the garage was black and smelled terrible upon arrival. We had to call to get help and also realized there was a water leak under the guest house sink. This was all a big disappointment to spend the first hours dealing with this issue instead of welcoming family and getting ready for our wedding event. The large house did not seem to have the same issue and was very lovely. Since we had 5 people in the guest house, the water issue was very inconvenient and our guests did not feel comfortable drinking the water. Hopefully these issues can be solved so future guests aren’t welcomed by these issues.

Magical Birthday Celebration

Celebrated my 70th Birthday in this beautiful house and surroundings with dear friends. Total perfection! None of us wanted to leave. House is magazine worthy and so well stocked. I just can’t say enough about this fabulous place.

Family Christmas celebration

Perfect property for size and ages of our family with ages ranging from 4-78. Grandparents, parents, and grandchildren. House was comfortable with space for all. Amazing gourmet kitchen for cooking Christmas dinner. Younger children loved the property - near the River and the abundant wildlife.

The most beautiful property!!!

A group of us came to the area for my son’s graduation from TXST. This property was perfect for us! Some great memories were made here! The property is beautiful! The house is beautiful! The guest house is beautiful! The home is decorated to the 9’s, but is still comfortable and inviting. The beds were so comfortable! Nothing was forgotten. Relaxing and beautiful

Great property. We felt special staying there. You can see the owner’s love for decorating and curated every detail intentionally. Kitchen and fridges were not as clean as they should be - we let the property mgt co know so they could correct for future guests.

Annual family trip to Wimberley

We have an annual family trip to Wimberley. This was our first time to stay at this property. The property is beautiful and fully stocked with whatever you might need for a family vacation. There are 13 of us, (6 kids and 7 adults) ranging in age from 7 years to 66 years, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We especially loved being able to sit together in the dining room for our family dinners! The water in front of the property was nonexistent due to the current drought, but a 10-minute walk upriver solved that problem. Blue Hole, and a day pass at 7A, also solved the low water situation. We truly enjoyed this location and had a great trip! Thanks! Angela M

Perfect place for a big group! Large table for dinners. Kids loved the fire pit and small rapids on the river right on the property. Big kids loved the deep part of the river with a rope swing 10 minute walk up river. 3 fridges to store food for a big group.

Beautiful Spacious Home

Love this house! It is big, spacious and has such peaceful nature right outside the door. The high ceilings make it feel luxurious. The kitchen is really stocked and has everything we needed. The deer are fireflies outside were magical. It was a beautiful weekend getaway for our group. Thank you. I will be back.

Gorgeous!

This is a very beautiful house with everything a large group of friends or family could ever need. The interior design is flawless and the large kitchen is a dream to cook in (Wolf ranges, tons of cookware, and multiple fridges). We adored this place and hope to return.

Love this Wimberley gem

Rio de Suenos is truly a place to get away from it all and enjoy exactly what Wimberley and hill country is all about. The property is spacious, quiet and full of amazing wildlife. The home is a beautiful example of farmhouse chic and has an outstanding kitchen as well as all of the other amenities that make it feel like a home away from home. My group has stayed here three times and plan to be back. There are plenty of places to unwind and spread out. The carriage house makes it even more grand and spacious. This is a wonderful home and property. Highly recommend

A beautiful spot on the Blanco river for a family reunion.

The home and surrounding nature was beautiful. We had a wonderful time together celebrating our parents 67th anniversary. The only minor glitch was that when we booked we were somehow thinking that children under 12 were not included in the total count. The property can only accomodate16 overnight guests total ( we were 16 adults) so one of our families had to find another place to stay. They were able to join as day guests. Otherwise, it was amazing and we are grateful.

Enjoyed our stay. Great house in a great area. Lots of room to make everyone comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The river was very low and warm. That isn’t the owners fault but something to know. The ac unit stopped working one night in the main house. Property management was contacted but they did not follow up. Summer with no AC is not pleasant. Overall a good experience.

Beautiful Hill Country Home

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home! The kitchen is well-stocked and the bedrooms are comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the deer and other wildlife and playing corn hole. Since there is a drought, there was not much water in the section of the Blanco on the property, so that was kind of a bummer. Can't help Mother Nature, but it would have been good to realize ahead of time that this part of the Blanco isn't dammed up to make a swimming hole like some of the parts you pass by on the way to the house.
