Had a lovely few days away with family lovely cottage great location could do with a little TLC crac

Had a lovely few days away with family lovely cottage great location could do with a little TLC cracked tiles in the kitchen great wet room but let down by bits of grouting discoloured and sealant around shower lots of cobwebs in most rooms slapdash painting in some rooms too . These things did not spoil our time spent there but just a few things improved on after seeing photos that looked perfect.

The house was ideal for our family holiday of children, parents and granddad.

The house was ideal for our family holiday of children, parents and granddad.The hot tub and games room were used and enjoyed. The rooms were of good size and the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge was good for socialising. Good rear garden which was south facing allowed us to enjoy the decking and sun lounges.There were a few things which could be improved easily and at little cost which includes more drinking mugs, only 6 for house accommodating 8; more tea towels, only 1 which is inadequate; a decent potato peeler, I challenge anyone to peel with it; a few more cleaning products to allow us to keep on top of cleaning.The shower tray wasn't draining well and looked likely to overflow so had to resort to cleaning the drain filter, not a pleasant job.Location was good with reasonable driving distances to Poole, Bournemouth, Upton Country Park, Slip and Slide park and dog friendly restaurant Riverside at at Coventry Arms just down the road.Enjoyable stay.
