“What an idyllic delight!!! It’s an old home, but it was so comfortable! Our room was huge, and the breakfast buffet in the morning right outside our door was perfect. The tea & biscuits waiting for us in our room upon arrival were much appreciated, and I got to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets of my life over the sheep fields.”

“Beautiful property, excellent location.
Reception staff seemed put out to check-in (not only us but we saw same unfriendly, unhelpful attitude towards others). A smile and be more engaging would have made us feel welcomed.
Dining room servers pleasant and accommodating.”

“Stayed in a "standard room" / King bed. Overall, the two-day stay was underwhelming,. On arrival, first room actually smelled hot. I first assumed something was wrong with the HVAC (there was), but I learned that the facility heats with radiators, and no, air conditioners don't work. After returning to the room with instructions to try turning down the radiator, I discovered there was no handle on the radiator valve. After I made a second trip to the front desk, they gave me a different room,……

“The Ettington Park hotel is an extraordinary English Family Castle with a great & long history.
Our stay in this hotel was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Despite belated arrival at night, we were all welcomed by their staff with thoughfully arranged dinner & wine & porter services of many bulk luggage.
We were luckily given to visit their dinner hall & in-house chappel to be nicely prepared for wedding ceremony. All memories were not only shot by camera but also every pictures in our……

“There is no one to check you in or ask questions to until after 5 pm or so. The front desk isn't staffed in the morning but I finally found someone cleaning a room the following morning. He told me they would not store my small but somewhat heavy bag for pick-up after 5 pm when a front desk person would be there. I said I didn't mind waiting until 5 pm to come back for the bag. He then changed their excuse for refusing to hold the bag to "we can't be responsible for it". I wasn't asking them……
