酒店環境優美，但chick in 時職員服務一般，當時亦沒有幫忙搬運行李的工作人員，等了一段時間，所以扣了不少分

Beautiful room and public spaces. Comfy bed. Delicious food. Super friendly and helpful staff. Not walkable to town since would have to walk on the road (no sidewalks), but easy to get a taxi or Uber there and back. Would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel, as you would expect, is immaculate. Special notice must be given to the grounds keeping staff. I have never stayed at a property with such well-manicured flowers and fauna. It really added to the ambiance of the stay. Breakfast is wonderful, do take advantage of it. As for the dining, the menu was too over the top for us as a general statement. We find Michelin star or noted restaurants to be too adventurous for us, generally but we managed well enough. This is a very peaceful and supremely quiet house in the country.

Beautiful hotel. The patio was fantastic, but only two parasols available for about eight tables outside. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. Lovely views overlooking Lake Windermere in the distance. The breakfast and lunch were brilliant. We took a walk around the gardens and tarn which were delightful. Free duck food is available at reception.
