Warm cozy place

It's a cozy place to escape from the big city. While we walk into the hotel, we received warm welcome right away. The people at front desk are very friendly and nice. Their breakfast are great. First night I found my bed mattress got problem, after I told them, they changed it right away. Not far away from Station (about 10 minutes walk), but it's located at a quite nice area. We are really enjoy staying there.

Not worthy for GBP at all. Disappointed.

Two big sinks on the bed, impossible, unhealthy to sleep on. Very clearly to see the defects when make up the room. Don't know why they keep using it for customers.

Great room and service

On arriving The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming and explained everything to us including the wifi password and breakfast serving times, she also went to check the room was ready for us as we were a little early. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice ensuite shower room with a small selection of toiletries, also tea coffee and biscuits in the room. At breakfast the same lady was busy around the dining area taking orders and serving breakfasts which were very nice. And upon leaving she wished us well on our journey.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights at the end of August 2025. The hotel has a private car park with plenty of spaces. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room and en-suite bathroom I was allocated were clean and both very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The room we were given was not very good at all and not worth the 4 stars as advertised. There was mould on the curtains and all through the shower cubical. There was loose floor tile on the entrance to the bathroom which are dangerous. The curtain rail was held up with ribbon. The staff however were really good to deal with, the owner/Manager was really welcoming and couldnt do enough to help with anything else we needed. The breakfast was very good quality and very nice, the chef was helpful and would change the breakfast to suit if you needed. The hotel in general needs updating and tidying up as I feel we over paid for the experience we got and would not visit again while it's in the state it is.
