Fisher Inn Resort & Marina

8/10 Good

"Convenient to Publix. Marina not usable at low tide. Room to park boat trailer limited Issues with AC, had to be relocated to a room that was a downgrade Lots of good restaurants in the area Staff doesn't speak when you run into them around the property. Cost is the draw here, less expensive than neighboring hotels. Place is at least 50 years old Nice sitting area underneath one of the buildings. Stays cool. Saw a lot of college kids while there."

"The property was beautiful as soon as we pulled up we were greeted by a woman on a golf cart. She was so happy and helpful. It made us feel comfortable right away, showed us to the front desk and she was also so very friendly. I wish I remembered their names. We got an ocean view. It also overlooked the pool and tiki bar and beach. The rooms were clean. Our balcony had very comfortable seating. We sat outside all night and walked to the property around the marina. I would definitely come back."

"The grounds were very nice and the room was cute. However, Beware of the fact that the staff leaves at night, and does not return until after 7:30 the next morning. A circuit breaker was tripped in my room ,and i had to locate the breaker box and reset it to restore power to the room . There were after hour numbers to call however, the lady at the check-in desk told me that I would probably wake somebody up if I called after hours and that would anger them, so I avoided that . Lastly, a group of people came in and took over the whole beach property during the night, they were loud abusive, and I’m not even sure if they were staying at the hotel. Because there was no one at the hotel this could not be reported ,so I had to go into my room for the rest of the night to avoid these people. The room was very affordable, but obviously not having a night person on site kept the cost down ,not a good trade-off, I won’t be coming back."
