"This was a beautiful and quiet setting perfectly located for our interests which were hiking the Appalachian Trail, exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway, and enjoying a day trip to Thomas Jefferson’s home at Monticello. The property was clean, well laid out, and functional. Communication was clear. We had a wonderful stay."

"The cabin was very small. Lots of bugs and spiders. Ceiling plaster peeling off. No TV instructions and barely worked when we figured it out. No wifi or cell service at all. Had to drive a few miles away to pull up email with the code. Too small and just not what expected."

"This place was perfect size for my husband and I and another couple to stay and enjoy an extended weekend. I give it a 4 star over all stay due to the 2 bedroom has more of a closet door instead of a true door that had difficulty closing at night. All new appliances were perfect for cooking dinner at night and perfect location to do the Nelson 151 wine tour."

"A great place for a small family to stay! We liked everything about it. The stairs are steep — almost more of a ladder — so unless kids are a little older or good at obeying their parents, I’d offer a bit of caution is required. But the cottage was quiet and lovely for our 2-day visit to Sweet Briar College, especially since lodging was hard to find. Communication with the manager was clear and easy via SMS and email. Look no further!"

"This place was top notch! We had been awaiting this stay and it more than exceeding our expectations for our 10th anniversary. The website was a great touch and communication before and during our stay was excellent. Beautiful place with all the little touches one could ask for. Perfect location for a quiet getaway and to jump to Charlottesville and the numerous area wineries. We definitely want to come back as it was everything we could ask for."

"This is a gorgeous house and property. Meticulously maintained, well stocked, spacious and comfortable, lovely location, beautiful all around. The house is on the top of the hill with amazing views and lots of windows to enjoy it. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seems fully stocked for easy cooking. It was an easy and beautiful drive to nearby cideries and Cville. A real gem, hope to stay there again."

"I lost my wife to cancer recently and the Cozy Cottage was the most perfect place to relax and connect with my three kids. The home is absolutely amazing with this most spectacular views.
