「We stayed the weekend for a college reunion- this is our 5th stay - and it keeps getting better. Friday night we had a small get together before heading out to local restaurants and all who stopped by commented on how beautiful the house was and how great the location is. Both inside and outside were great- was a great venue for the 8 of us who stayed. Already looking at dates for the next get together- and making a reservation for “the house” will be top on the list of to dos. 」

「My husband and I, both seniors, and our elderly dog very much enjoyed our 5 day stay at faye's place. All on one floor,clean,quiet,comfortable,well outfitted, everything we needed!We also very much enjoyed the fenced yard and gazebo,good for reading and napping. Our grandkids visited and loved all the vintage "toys". Also hosts very responsive when a repair was needed Faye's place is very special!」

「We are 4 women in our eighties who have been friends since grade school. We take an annual 4 day trip each summer. This year we wanted to learn about the Driftless area of southern MN and WI. The mansion in La Crosse was the perfect home base for exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay at the Cargill-Pettibone mansion. Lots of room and nice accommodations. We would definitely recommend it to a larger group. 」

「When I arrived to check in there were no rooms available. I had messaged the VRBO owner to let him know that I would not be arriving until 11:30 pm and he said it would be fine. When i arrived the hotel was out of rooms and it was incredibly dirty. I have tried contacting the VRBO owner and he has said he will look into it. I had to pay an extreme amount to stay at another hotel on graduation weekend. 」

「I booked this room because the photos looked decent. Boy was I wrong. I showed up and the lobby was about 40 degrees. Started the check in process and the card door things were broken. So none of the door locks worked, which also means you could just walk into any room, also that means if we left, anyone could walk into our room. It took 20 mins for them to find a room for us. We go in and they had not cleaned the bathroom, pee stains on toilet, no towels, burn holes in all the furniture. I went...

「Perfect for our visit. The host is responsive and accommodating. House was clean and spacious, and had everything needed. The beds were comfortable. Steps away from Parrot State Park walking trail. A quick drive takes you to a cute little downtown area with plenty of options for a drink or lunch. We had a nice dinner at Sullivans Supper Club. Would stay again. Was so glad we could bring our pup! Thank you. 」
