Great mountain getaway
We had a great stay here right before the spring break rush. Gorgeous views! Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for our family of 5. Coming from the plains of the Midwest, the walk and stairs were a struggle with the elevation but it was worth it with the view from the balcony. We had one minor issue with bedding but the hosts were very quick to reply and handle it for us!

Great ski spot!

Excellent views.
Property was just as advertised in the pictures. Everything was beautiful. View was spectacular. It's a bit of a walk from the parking garage and the train is pretty loud in the a.m. otherwise great location and price.

Positive vibes, beautiful views
A remodeled (particularly the kitchen) in the Silverado II complex in Winter Park. A top floor unit, there are big views from all windows, including a panoramic sweep of James Peak from the front deck. Unit has the vibe of being owned by a nice family. One note: As with many Winter Park vintage buildings, there are a couple of flights of stairs involved.

Annual ski trip approved
Stayed for a week in March, unit was perfectly clean, Owners very easy to work with, price was reasonable. Climb up the stairs was a little tough at the end of a days skiing, but the views off the multiple balconies more than made up for it. The buildings underground garage, ski lockers and hot tubs were perfect. Will absolutely be back at the earliest opportunity.

Unit was nice, clean, spacious but very chilly. We were not able to get the unit warm and wore jackets and used blankets to sit in the living room. This was difficult after skiing and returning to the unit very chilled from the day of skiing. We had stayed there in the past and it had been very comfortable for us.

Hi David, Thanks for the review, we apologize for issue you experienced with the heat. Often times the heat will get turned down while vacant, and it will take a bit to warm up since its base board heat. There are actually four thermostats in the unit, main living room, second bedroom behind the door, master bedroom is above the light switch and is a bit obstructed by the head board, and then there is one in the master bath. Because of the vaulted ceilings, the living room does take the longest to warm up, but with all the doors open and all the thermostats turned up, it should have been super warm in there in a few hours. If we set them all to 72, the whole condo is almost too hot by middle of the night. Any insight you can provide as to what you suspect the issue might have been would be greatly appreciated. Great Views and Comfy Beds
Fast and easy communication with owners. Beautiful views. Very comfortable beds -- Best nights of sleep I have had in the mountains! Condo had everything we needed and was well cared for. My daughter loved the pool and the hot tubs were most welcome at the end of the day (the one by the sauna is hotter in temperature). Winter park ski resort is an 8 minute drive or there is a shuttle stop not far from the property entrance. Know before you go -- It is definitely a trek from parking to the condo so I would recommend packing light and having enough helpers to carry everything up. It might be tough for someone not used to the altitude. The entire building could use some updating and more care. There happened to be an HOA meeting while we were there and it sounds like they voted to change management companies, so hopefully that helps. Overall, it was a nice place to say in the mountains and a positive experience.

Great family or group vacation— comfortable and beautiful!
My family and I stayed here for a week of skiing. The condo was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, and the living room is a comfortable set up for hanging out or watching football. The views are gorgeous from every room. While the description states that the staff are not on site to serve you as a guest, they were incredibly kind to us and responsive to the owner’s requests. The property owners were also quick to respond to any requests and questions. The hot tub/pool area was clean and very accessible. If you are not bringing a car, note that there is only one bus line that stops in front of the property. It’s an easy walk to the next bus stop with more options, but good to know for planning purposes. Overall great place to stay!

New Years Ski Holiday
We spent four nights over the new years weekend skiing at Winter Park. The location and accommodations were great for our family of 5. Just the right size and close to skiing and all the restaurants and shops in town. The unit had everything we needed and it was great having garage parking during a time there was a LOT of snow. Would stay again.

Very nice property
Great location. Nice property. There is a train at night that we heard because we slept with doors open. If you are light sleeper may want to make sure unit has AC. Had to go buy toilet paper as there were no extra rolls that we could find. Otherwise everything great.

Hi Trudy, Thanks for great review and feedback. The train does run through the center of Winter Park, and there a very few properties with AC in the mountains and most properties in town are near the tracks. So based on your feedback, we ordered a couple more larger fans so folks can cool it down faster should they want to close the doors at night. Sorry you had to purchase toilet paper, that is provided by the in house cleaning service when they clean, they probably would have gave you more at the front desk, but I've also sent them a message to put more in the condo for future guests. Hopefully they will accommodate. Again, thanks for the five star review and the feedback, this helps us better prepare for others, without impacting our VRBO status. Thanks Patrick and Jill

Amazing place to stay!
My family of four really enjoyed staying here on vacation! We stayed at the end of June of this year, so we got to enjoy Colorado in the summertime. What made our time their even more special were the balconies in this unit and the views!! You can see mountains all around you from the 4th floor! The apartment was stocked with all of the things we needed during our stay including kitchen utensils and cookware, and the place was very clean and comfortable. There is a pool and hot tub on the 1st floor of the building to enjoy as well. Loved this place, and hope to visit again!

The unit was nice, but the ad didn't mention the 3 flights of stairs we needed to climb to access our unit. The "elevator" is only from the 1st to 2nd floor and we stayed on the 4th floor. Carrying lots of bags and making several trips with some injured/disabled persons made the stay challenging at times.

Winter Getaway
My wife and I stayed for four nights in Winter Park for a winter getaway to the mountains. The Property was perfect for our stay. Clean, comfortable and spacious enough for the two of us. Being on the top floor we had breath taking views of the mountains and overlooked the town. The condo had every amenity we needed and the kitchen was well equipped to fix meals. It was conveniently located to everything and about a 10-15 minute walk from downtown Winter Park. We would definitely stay at Silverado II again.

Great apartment for a ski trip!
We stayed here for a ski trip. In short, this is a great place. Spacious, clean, quiet, with all amenities and very close to down town Winter Park and the slopes. The shuttle to the resort literally stops in front of the building. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a nice place to stay during their Winter Park ski trip.

Great Winter Escape
We absolutely loved staying in this condo. Very close to the ski resort and everything else we wanted to do. The parking garage was great due to all the snow we had during our stay. You won't regret staying here.....we loved it!

Winter Park Ski Trip
We really enjoyed the condo! Nicely decorated and very clean. The free bus to the Winter Park resort stops right outside the condo entrance twice an hour and only takes ~10min to get there.

Great place to stay with a family
This property is a great place to stay. Nice and easy to get to, not to far off the main road. This was a great little get away. Only downfall is the elevator only goes to second floor so if you stay on the upper levels you will get a workout! We did it with three little kids and a ton of luggage, so not to bad. Would definitely recommend this place to others. It was clean, comfort and had an amazing view. The price was also a major plus.

Warmly decorated in a winter wonderland!
This newly renovated and expertly decorated unit was very comfortable for our all adult family of four. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Everything you could possible need is present in the unit. The complex maintains the pool and spa well. And on winter days the inside parking was welcome. Though centrally located, I would suggest a vehicle, (AWD) in winter, unless you are accustomed to high altitude walking. The owners are obviously very proud of their vacation home.

Awesome for the price
The condo was awesome. The remodel and update made the place cute, quaint and comfortable. Although the complex seems like an older lodge, the owners did a fantastic job with their update. The location was perfect, super close to restaurants and shopping and really close to the skiing!! We absolutely loved it. We even used one of the two jacuzzis every night. There is one little thing , there is an elevator from the garage , but there are only stairs up to the condo. After the first day it was no big deal, but the first day was little hard for an AARP person like me until I got used to the altitude! Again, absolutely loved the condo and are planning on staying there again!! Thanks Patrick

Our two night stay in Winter Park with our family was fantastic. The apartment was even better than described - clean, well maintained, comfortable. There were great amenities for the kids who enjoyed using the game in the closets indoor pool and the gameroom on premises. The 3 porches stunning with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Owners were very eager to please and responsive to our needs. This property truly helped make our vacation wonderful and memorable.

The place is adorable! I almost didn’t choose this property because the pictures made it look a little dark. It was much lighter and adorable in real life. And every room has a small balcony. Great place & wed book again!

Wonderful Condo!
This was our first time in Winter Park and we had a wonderful time and the condo was perfect for us. We had 2 adults and 3 teens traveling and the size was perfect. The condo was very clean and the updates were very tasteful. The kitchen had everything we needed and the king size bed in the master was very comfortable. Patrick and Jill were great to work with. All communications were promptly answered and the directions to get into the condo were super easy. Since we visited in the summer we didn't make use of ski lockers but they are located right next to entrance from the garage making it very convenient. Also, we didn't use the fireplace but I can just imagine how cozy it would be after a long day of skiing. We might just have to visit in the winter and we would definitely stay in this condo again. Thank you Patrick and Jill for the use of your lovely condo. By the way the skis on the wall in the master are super cute!! Congrats!!

Winter Park stay July 2019-don't miss this hidden treasure!
I have stayed in Winter Park a few times over the years and this was the first time at Silverado II. This condo was great! The location was about a 5-10 minute walk to the village (Starbucks, food, shopping, chair lifts, etc.). Easy walk to the Winter Park Village, lots of outdoor recreation in the summer as well as winter. If using the shuttle, it was on time every day and picked us up at the Silverado II entrance. The location absolutely cannot be beat! The condo was in excellent condition (completely renovated) and extremely clean and very quiet. The furniture was all new and comfortable and plenty of linens were included. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you needed to prepare a meal. The layout of condo accommodates couples as well as families. TV’s in both bedrooms and living room were most appreciated. Little patios off each bedroom and living room offered beautiful view day or night. The building amenities such as the two indoor hot tubs and pool, game room are great feature for families or couples. It's a nice short drive to anything you're looking to do in Fraser, including heading to Winter Park, and the indoor parking is nice whether it is summer or winter. The owners were easy to communicate with and got back to me with any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very nice place. Good location
Property was very clean, great views of the mountains . Only thing I would change is we stayed 2 nights and they only had 1 package of coffee. It would be nice to be able to make coffee in the morning. Other than that the place was Great. We didn’t use the pools or sauna. Hosts were very responsive and great to deal with. There were also a lot of TV options. It would be good to have some instructions on the many options and remotes. Thanks for the great accommodations would happily stay there again. You will have 3 flights of stairs to walk up. So make sure everyone in your party can do that

Awesome unit, great views, nice amenities
We stayed here for a weekend with a family of four, and it was perfect. The unit has plenty of room, and all rooms have their own balcony. The king bed was very comfortable and kitchen had everything we need. It took a bit of navgating on the TVs, but that was a minor issue. The amenities were great, and the bus stops right in front of the complex. Will definitely stay here again.
