"Such a beautiful lodge & the area around it. Very comfortable, spacious room & great size bathroom. Loved sitting out on the back patio & looking at the beautiful mountains & hills. Great trails from the property. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Great game room & lobby. Only thing was the staff member that checked us in was not very welcoming or helpful & never smiled. It might have been just her. The staff member that checked us out was very nice & pleasant & smiled. "

"Penny and Mike were wonderful hosts! We absolutely loved the area, easy access to the beautiful Methow River. We stayed in cabin A which was perfect for 4 people. 2 adults and 2 kids. The mountains surrounding the valley were amazing. If you need a place to stay this is the place. 2 minutes from down town and all the shops. "

"Winthrop is a cool place. An old west styled town with a ton of outdoor activities throughout the area. This property has an online check-in and coded room doors for those arriving late. The front desk is not manned 24/7 but there is plenty of signage if you need assistance of some kind. Nicole was amazing, welcoming and kind. She was a great representative of the local people. Everywhere we went the locals were genuinely kindhearted and quick to offer assistance or shoot the breeze. This is not a property you stay at for the amenities. There is no spa or 5 star restaurant. What they do have is very clean and neatly appointed rooms to enjoy after a day of hiking, shooting, rafting, skiing, biking, etc. It’s peaceful and quiet. We could hear the owls hooting and the whisper of the swoosh of their wings as the grabbed their dinner. We will happily return. "

"Very comfortable, good beds, sofas. Only issue was we were unable to get the tv to link with either internet or tv single. Spent hours on it. Needs to have better step by step explanation on how to get it to work"
