"I didn't expect much when I booked but it was better than expected. It's kind of an odd/old building but the place had a decent sized fitness center and the pool area was nice. There is an attached bar/restaurant/bowling alley which all had very reasonable prices and the food was good. The hotel staff had little to say but weren't rude either. The cleaning lady I saw in the hall the following am was very friendly."

"The host was easy to work with. Early on before booking I had some questions as there was confusion about how many bedrooms and beds in the actual listing,but he clarified that and that was completely accurate. we were happy with the house, patio and pier with a great view of the lake which was on a peninsula, so there was very little boat traffic. The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of dishes, pots and pans, crockpot etc. It was great to have two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom did have a little water pressure problem and we could’ve used more toilet paper for six people. Overall it was a great stay, wish it could have been longer!"

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Timber Inn! It is clear that the new owners are putting a lot of time and care into the space. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the amenities were thoughtful, and the staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again when we're in the area!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Things were nice and clean, and there were many things available that are missing at other places (think kitchen untensils, outdoor supplies....things you might not think to pack, but need!). The location was wonderful, with a great dock. Cast as far as you can to hook into the bigger ones! If we come back to this area, we will definitely be staying here again! I am already missing drinking my coffee while listening to the loons sing."
