“A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement.
Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). Elevator is very fast and there are 3 of them, so no issues at all. The nearby……

"It’s close to Piccadilly station but not Piccadilly garden, thus not close to the city centre nor shopping / restaurants/ supermarkets.
During my stay, first day they do housekeeping but the second day they skipped. We called ar the evening, receptionist said they will arrange housekeeping for us, but after half an hour, when we went to receptionist to ask again while we’re heading out for dinner, they said housekeeping was off duty and could only send us towels etc to our room.
Also, false alarm rang on both mornings. In the first morning at around 10-11am, false alarm was on, some residents and us went to the corridor and asked the housekeeping lady, she just told us to ignore.
In the second morning, false alarm was On again at around 9:30am.
Quite disappointed and unacceptable for a hotel overall. "
