Thorn house was loved by all of us, it had everything we needed, plenty of space and beautifully decorated. There are shops near by and you get 30% off a specific chinese takeaway when staying at Thorn house. We explored Oxford, which is a 30 min drive. 「The cottage is quintessential Cotswolds -- great place to stay with a family of four. Despite being a cottage, there was plenty of space for four w a lot of luggage. Very walkable with a beautiful ancient church at the end of the lane and good restaurants (Chequers is my favorite) a few minutes away. Parking is super easy with street parking on the lane itself (limited), main road 50 feet away (some), and long-term car park 200 feet away (a lot of spaces). We used Chipping Norton as a base...
