“The property is worn and not terribly clean. For example the shower floor is peeling off in the primary bath and there was mildew in the second bath shower. There is not a single hanger anywhere in the condo, and not a single wine glass or even juice glass. The pillows were all lumpy. Silverware is uneven with spoons lacking. A small investment and a good cleaning would go a long way to making guests feel like they were welcome and got their moneys worth.”

“The house is located in a dangerous neighborhood surrounded by homeless shelters (Sharing House, The Haven, the food pantry) and this is not part of the house location description. There was noise, indigent people laying on the sidewalks, and standing in groups, and public drinking in groups outside within 50 feet of the house at all hours. It is totally unsafe. “Hilda’s Hideaway was the perfect getaway for our 4th of July weekend. The cabin is cozy and a great spot to enjoy all activities in the area. The cabin was very clean and included everything needed for our weekend. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the loft with the king bed. It was very comfortable. The hosts were quick to respond to all my questions and were very helpful with suggestions on what to do on the area. We look forward to a return visit! Thanks again to Morgan (and her……

“The cabin itself was cute and clean. The location was beautiful and close to dining and shopping. The swings and outdoor furniture had not been wiped down. Large spider webs were on the swings. My biggest complaint was check-in. The code we were given was not updated so it took almost an hour before VRBO reached the owner to give us the new code to access the key.”
