「2nd visit to this beautiful boutique hotel. Loved the rooms,food & beautiful gardens with plenty of tables & seating areas. Staff very helpful & friendly. Car park close by you do have to pay however we downloaded app and where able to top up following morning. Very central to everything you need bars restaurants shopping and great walks near by. Would highly recommend 」

「Stayed here a number of times over the years. So convenient for the bars and shopping. Lovely quaint room that shows the period of the building. Lovely and clean. The bar area and beer garden are very popular. Will definitely be staying here again before the end of the year for Christmas shopping.」

「Hotel short walk from station run by young couple keen to make a difference. Oozes character, surrounded by historic architecture and fits right in. Cafes, restaurants, pubs close at hand with lots of shopping close to hand. I nipped down a nearby alley each morning to enjoy a great riverside walk to the park and home for breakfast.」

「Simply superb! This traditional B&B, for me, was perfect. Louise met me at the door with a warm smile and showed me to my, quaint, comfortable room. The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. 「The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was very good and worth staying in for. The hotel garden backs onto a beautiful park and is a three minute walk to cafes and shops (some of these appear to be shut on Tuesdays, but there were enough open to make a trip worthwhile).
