“Top class location with easy and picturesque walk to high street via cathedral.
Friendly, courteous staff. Characterful clean room with excellent welcome freebies ( bottle of beer, sweet treats). Fridge in the room with real milk and chilled water.
A very characterful bar & dining room in the pub which was clearly very popular with locals too.
Slight downsides: not great privacy of ensuite facilities from bedroom, slightly over-priced evening meal even for Winchester, some early morning……

“It was a great stay at Queens Road, the host was welcoming and very knowledgeable to assist with the area. The room was clean, tidy and had a lot of amenities.
If you want a check in with minimal contact this is a great way to do it. The venue is also great if visiting people at the hospital and the university. It is so close by.

“Upon arrival, I was initially assigned an occupied room. The place was unstaffed, and the provided phone number was unreachable. I had to ask other guests for an alternative number. I called, texted, and left a WhatsApp message on that number, but received no response for at least an hour.When I finally received a text message with details for a new room, I found the bed was broken and the room was freezing cold.
