In decent condition but to recognise its price point and position, a refresh of interior finishing would benefit, The staff are excellent, I interacted with housekeeping, reception, night porter and breakfast team, all are exceptionally friendly, the receptionist in particular was really very helpful and kind. "

"Cathill cottage was just perfect for a winter break. This property was furnished to an exceptional standard with everything we needed even to cook a Christmas dinner. No detail too small and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our hosts thought of everything even wonderful welcome hamper and a doggie hamper also. Towels for the hot tub and others for the dog nothing was too much trouble and there as we walked in. The location was lovely and just next to the canal was great for an afternoon stroll and teaming with bird life - we even saw a Kingfisher on our last day which made my Christmas. We cant wait to come back again."

"Terrible property - due to stay here for 5 nights but posed such a health risk that we left immediately and checked in elsewhere at great expense. Sacks of rubbish left, outdoor dining area unusable, dangerous shower, bedroom fans covered in thick dust and mould. Is not as described - is a mid terraced property, not semi-detached as the pictures suggest. Neighbours garden full of trade waste and arguing with each other so would have been unpleasant to sit outside. Undesirable area. Do not stay here. They wouldn’t be able to rent it as it is let alone it be a pleasant holiday house."
