A quite delightful place to call home for a while.

A quite delightful place to call home for a while. Wonderful accommodation. Clean, comfortable, warm, spacious, well equipped house. The gardens are a beautiful environment to relax in (although not possible for us as the weather was against us!). The nearest shop is several miles away in Wooler and not a problem for us as car users. Loraine was a perfect, helpful host. In all, as far as I'm concerned, highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage.

Beautiful cottage. Very comfortable and well equipped. We had hired the cottage for a long weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday and were joined by our daughter and her partner. The cottage is perfect for 4 adults as there are 2 double rooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen/lounge allows you to cook/socialize together whilst the separate sitting room is useful if someone wants a quiet moment. However the stand out feature of the cottage was the garden, it was absolutely gorgeous with a lovey seating area. We were very lucky and had sunny weather so was able to sit outside for lunch. Lots of walks in the area, would highly recommend Etal and Ford area.
