Von dort aus haben wir immer wieder Tagesausflüge gemacht nach Wernigerode, Quedlinburg und Goslar. Das Kloster Walkenried liegt auch sehr nah und lohnt einen Besuch in jedem Fall. "Etwa die Hälfte der Zeit waren wir 10 Erwachsene und ein Baby. Gemeinsam unten oder im Haus verstreut, wir kamen uns nie in die Quere. Schöne Zimmer und hervorragende Ausstattung. Wetterbedingt mussten wir leider die Erkundung der Umgebung und die Nutzung des Gartens einschränken, aber das ist natürlich nicht die Schuld des Vermieters. Eine Spülmaschine ist leider nicht vorhanden - ansonsten ist grundsätzlich alles da was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Viel Natur und tolle Wanderwege in der Nähe.
