peaceful escape

We really enjoyed our stay in early September at Little Owl Barn Snodsbury. Enjoyed the very peaceful location and proximity to many interesting places to visit. Accommodation was excellent with everything needed to self cater if required but also near to friendly pubs , serving good food.

Relaxing summer break.

I was looking for a relaxing environment away from my busy life in London and that is exactly what I got. The Little Owl Barn is beautifully presented, open and airy and in an ideal location overlooking fields. The area has plenty of walks and quaint eateries a short drive away. The owners were lovely and welcoming. This is the perfect get away.

Perfect rural retreat

We stayed here for 5 nights in early October - it is truly rural with just 3 other houses in the vicinity in a dead end lane - the back of the property is just looking over the orchard and all around is just fields. Peace perfect peace!! We enjoyed wacthing and listening to the little owls hunting at dawn and dusk, the rabbits running in the orchard and many birds. The property itself is just like the pictures. It is finished to a high quality and has everything you could require. We can highly recommend the Twisted Spoon for coffee and cake or a good breakfast. Enjoyable, restful stay - would definitely come here again

Relaxing stay

Very relaxing, well-equipped place to stay. Wonderful to wake up and see horses outside the window. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Lovely break . The house was ideal for our group. Plenty of places to visit nesrby although walks from the door is a bit of a stretch.

Calm haven to reboot

We wanted a calm and quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of London and that is exactly what we got. The cottage was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and immaculate. It was a tonic to get the lovely views of the fields and nature from several vantage points in the house. Our favourites were the views from the breakfast nook in the kitchen, the living room and the outside deck. Our hosts were warm and available to give us helpful information about the area. We wish we could have stayed longer and would not hesitate to re-book again.
