Old-fashioned tranquility
The setting is gorgeous, out of the way, peaceful and secluded. The farmhouse is reminiscent of an old-fashioned country living. The 3 bedrooms are generous in size and filled with light. There are 2 living areas that are fine but a decorative touch could make them even better. A wonderful time was had by all and our host, Keith could not have been more gracious and responsive to our questions.

Wedding Bliss
The property was just what we needed for a family wedding in the area. The location was 20-35 mini from the places we had to travel too. Only issue we had was in getting there. Our google maps took us to a dead end lane way on arriving. We reversed out and it recalculated us to the correct route. Once we had that figured out we had no issues. The house was quaint and very secluded which allowed us to have a great afternoon nap after driving for ten hours. The bedrooms were large and each had window air conditioners and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen was equipped with a the gear we needed and a much need coffeemaker! Overall the home was clean and tidy but my granddaughter who crawls found some dead crickets in the floor, which she kindly shared with me. Nothing to be concerned about, just a lovely farmhouse surrounded by trees and meadows. Saw deers early Sunday morning in the front yard and several bunnies which my granddaughter loved. Keith was very responsive to my questions. Great weekend all around

Magical Old Farmhouse
My family and I are from NYC and we were looking to find a special house in Western Mass for several days that was as far away from the commotion of the City as we could find. This gorgeous, old farmhouse was it! Secluded with inspiring views of mountains, farmland and forests, this house gave us the rest and recharge we needed. It’s a throwback to a simpler time with lots of interesting rooms and plenty of space. Hosts made everything easy! (Note that GPS will want you to take “Fritz Rd” — but most of that road was discontinued.) Hope to be back next summer!

It was just the space we needed to attend a family wedding nearby. Common area, bathroom and bedrooms were clean but it could have been cleaner and use some updates (food remnants in some of the drawers, dust and dead bugs under furniture; a few broken screens and shades) nothing a deep cleaning and upgrades can’t fix. Owner was responsive and accommodating.

It was a good place for our family of 4 adults to spend Christmas. It was nice to get away to a quiet and remote area. We cooked, played games and took walks. We enjoyed watching the turkeys roam around in the snow too! We would stay again though the housekeeping could use a little TLC.💕

Perfect getaway
We needed a place for a post Christmas celebration and the farmhouse was perfect! We took a crock pot and food enough for four days and just enjoyed the company of family. We also enjoyed the wildlife strolling along the property and a nice hike to a falls nearby. If you want peace, quiet, relaxation and beautiful sunrises and sunsets this is the place!

Spectacular Setting
The views were incredible. The spectrum of autumn colors just overwhelmed me. We sat on the porch and took walks to see the beauty of this stay. We also enjoyed watching the deer, cattle, coyote and geese. We were fortunate to see a black bear and her cub. It was truly an escape from the reality we live in.

A Tranquil Farmhouse Stay
Wonderful farmhouse in an absolutely tranquil rural setting. We stayed for a week and really appreciated having all the necessary amenities to prepare our meals at the house every night, which is a good thing, because it took about 40 minutes every morning to drive to Northampton or Easthampton on winding rural roads. It is a lovely setting though! And quite spacious with several comfortable bedrooms. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a beautiful, rural experience in New England.

Perfect Country Scene
The property seemed to stretch on and on, and it was quiet but we were not more than 10 minutes from the closest store. Plenty of space, charming and it felt so comfortable for friends and family. The letters and fireplace messages added that special feel that Keith and Kelly really want to make their guests feel welcome. Thank you both again it was an amazing experience ❤️

We stayed at Keith’s for 2 nights while moving my daughter into UMass. I wish we could have stayed for the week! - the house is super cozy, beds comfortable and the property is beautiful! I would def stay again!!

Very remote, quiet, roomy. Nothing nearby for convenience items, none really available such as soap and shampoo, welcome snacks. Coffee was available. Lots of bugs in corners of rooms on ceiling, but it is a farmhouse.

This was a magical old farmhouse with lots of character
I rented this home because my son was graduating from umass Amherst and I couldn’t find a hotel anywhere. What I thought was a bad thing ended up as a blessing. We were able to cook together, play a game together, or just hang out together. I wouldn’t have been able to do that in a hotel room. I highly recommend.

Quiet and secluded - absolutely great
Our stay here was just superb. Amazing to be right in the countryside. Views of deer nearly everyday, lots of birds and we even had a visit from a bob-cat. The perfect place to unwind. Minor down-side was slightly rust-colored hot water but not a problem as you don't drink your bath water. An excellent rustic hide-away.

weekend graduation at umass
the house was up to snuff, as described. the site, view, space and quiet was amazing. a big old house on a site fit for a grand estate, south western exposure with broad long views from a grassy terrace without interruption of manor dream. we booked late for a graduation and this was only place available for a family group. we were happily surprised by the incredible setting, albeit far from the madding crowd.

Perfect country retreat
I was looking for a country retreat to unwind after a long road trip and this terrific property fit the bill perfectly. The house is exactly as advertised, and if anything, more spacious than the photos depict. The kitchen has all you need to prepare meals. The house is located away from a main road, very private, with plenty of space to roam. The house is in excellent shape despite its age and quite comfortable. Everything went very smoothly from checkin to checkout and Keith was very responsive to my inquiries. My cell service wasn't great, but the house had wifi so I was all set. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy getaway in a lovely country setting I highly recommend this property. I would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, expansive, restful getaway
We loved this rural retreat! Cozy and quiet with a lovely VIEW. We loved crunching fall leaves underfoot, and watching stars come out overhead. A small lovely patio area provided a nice backdrop for wine and cheese and happy conversation. The house overlooks a tiny apple orchard where deer came to browse at dawn. Fantastic comfy beds and perfect lightweight comforters made for good nights sleep. We’ll remember this lovely setting when we need moments of Zen.

This is a great house. It was comfortable and clean. It is in a great area. It isn’t totally modern, but has WiFi and tv. It has everything for a very comfortable stay. My only complaint is the over use of air freshener/bounce. It was just too strong. My other travelers weren’t as bothered by it as me. This is a comfortable house, but if you are looking for granite counters etc… you might be disappointed.

We came here for our honeymoon. We were looking for peace and quiet and this place had that in spades! We loved sitting out on the porch listening to the crickets and watching the birds fly by. We heard the occasional cow moo besides that we were totally cut off which was exactly what we were looking for! The house was cute in its rustic charm. The owners responded quickly and we had no issues.

Gorgeous Getaway!
We stay here over the 4th of July weekend. Even with all the rain we had an amazing time! The house was clean and supplied you with almost everything you needed. We read books and watched the deer in the backyard pasture. It was so relaxing. We had one question and Keith responded almost immediately to our text. I would highly recommend this rental!

One of a kind
I live in the area and rented this house for my family to visit. It is truly a one-of-a-kind beautiful house and location. If you love this area of Massachusetts for it’s characteristic charm and quiet, you cannot find soemthing better than this. The house, the yard and the view are all breathtaking.

Special in every way
I stayed at Keith's farmhouse with two frieInds, and it was perfect! The house is so homey and spacious, and the pastoral views are simply stunning. It also is perfectly located for hiking, biking, and easy access to the Tanglewood area to the west, Northampton to the east, and Mass MOCA to the north. Keith is a fabulous host, and he responded immediately to our messages. We definitely will be back!!

Just what we needed!
We were so happy with this rental. Literally, there was no one else around. We were thankful for the remoteness of this quaint farmhouse. We were surprised how well stocked the kitchen was - we were able to make our meals there. Sitting on the patio in the afternoon, sipping on cocktails, and reconnecting with family after a long period due to Covid was just what we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable - we were not cramped in the least. Keith was very responsive when I texted him about checkout. One of the best rentals we have ever had using VRBO. Thank you again for providing such a delightful place for escape!

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children had wonderful time, the house and kitchen was equipped with all we needed for our stay. The farm’s surrounding is beautiful and fun for kids to explore. There are no numbers on the house which makes it a bit hard to identify the place when arriving at night but the owner was quick to respond and confrim the house location.

If you need a mental break from a city, choose this charming farmhouse. The space was large, clean, and nicely furnished. I especially liked sitting on a porch with my coffee and observing wild turkeys in a nearby clearing. In the evening you can watch the starry sky. I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to come back.

Relaxing Stay in Pioneer Valley
We found ourselves needing to unplug, and this farmhouse was the perfect place to do so. As city dwellers, we thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and being able to see the stars so clearly. We had a very relaxing long weekend - the weather was unseasonably cold, so other than going for some brief walks nearby (Chesterfield Gorge is lovely), we spent the weekend reading and generally lounging around. We picked up some basics at the General Store in Worthington, and some sandwiches and other prepared foods at the Old Creamery Co-Op in Cummington.

Dads getting away
We had a great visit and would love to come back sometime. It’s been a long haul and this was the perfect place for 5 dads to escape the chaos and just sit back and take in the quiet. We loved the seclusion of the property and went on several nice hikes on the ski mobile trails. The host was nearby for help but none was needed as the house was adequately stocked and had very th info we needed. Thanks for the great weekend.

Quiet rural retreat
Huge antique farmhouse nicely renovated at the end of a dirt road surrounded by fields and forest. Absolutely silent, no road noise from anywhere, the only sounds are coyotes by night and beef cattle by day. No internet, so the perfect place to detox from our normal daily info overload. Fully equipped kitchen. Multiple bedrooms, could host a large group here.

This place is a small piece of heaven, and it is rooted with the gracious and hospitable hosts. The location is indescribably beautiful. Gorgeous green fields and immeasurable dense woods surround the road-ending private site of the former farmhouse. Breakfast and dinner was on the deck looking out over the fruit-bearing apple and pear trees. We have never seen as many stars as we did in the backyard at night. Rooms were spacious and clean and the beds we're very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of utensils. We spent lots of time hiking and cycling and swimming in the Westfield River, and it's just a short ride to Northampton, a very sweet town. We thoroughly loved our stay and leaving was traumatic. We are so grateful that our previous plans had failed, otherwise we may never have come across this beautiful place and it's super-kind owners!!

Charming Farmhouse in the Woods
Everything about the stay was perfect. The host was extremely responsive, we exchanged numerous messages before as my friends and I were planning our trip. Keith always responded promptly and was always willing to help and give suggestions. We arrived to the end of the road where the house is located and noticed it was clean with a well stocked kitchen (which included a gas stove!) They had the basics and they had a grill we were able to use. Beautiful backyard with orchard trees. The view from the deck was amazing and we ate outside for almost all of our meals. We were also greeted with a nice welcome basket which was a great start of the trip. They also had ice in the freezer and water in the fridge! Keith continued to respond to messages throughout our weekend and suggested a cute farm stand to get some fresh fruit and veggies. It was so good, we went twice! Just make sure to bring cash//small bills. The local grocery store is about 30 min drive but we came with all of our own food so that wasn't an issue. We had a lovely extended weekend and would recommend if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay. Note: there is no wifi and we had spotty service. AT&T worked well, and Sprint/T-mobile were spotty but a dead zone for Verizon. If you took a few steps outside, you usually could find a little bit of service.
