The house was perfect for our large group! We had a blended family and friends, ages ranging from 2-71 so the two livings spaces and kitchens was very helpful.

Fantastic location!

My family rented this house for a wedding and it was the perfect location. Very close to everything. We also had plenty of room for our very big family. Everyone had their own bedroom.

Great beachfront house!

Great Rental!

The Blue Heron was perfect for our family! It was spacious, clean, convenient location, and six bathrooms was a complete game changer! Having two kitchens was fabulous! I will definitely add to my favorite beach rentals.

Excellent beach house

The home was perfect for several family groups staying together. The two kitchens were useful as both meat eaters and vegetarians could cook separately. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with almost everything we needed. It was expensive but worth it in the end due to its proximity to the beach. Very useful with small children.

Wrightsville Oceanfront family getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this oceanfront duplex that has been opened up to two living spaces. Worked out perfectly with our group and small children. Kids could play in sand behind house when not on the beach. Just have to be careful with stairs leading up to house.

Newly remodeled and you can tell

Property was pretty. View was amazing. Four out of the six bedrooms had issues with ceiling fans which were addressed immediately. Other minor issues that maintenance did attend to immediately.

Great beach rehtal

The house setup is excellent for families or groups of friends. There are plenty of bedrooms for individual privacy and a room with 4 bunk beds if you are bring kids. The two kitchens make it easy to get everyone taken care of. Location is outstanding. It’s a quick walk to the beach. There are restaurants and bars that you can walk to. Pay attention the lists of things you need to bring to the house. We rented beach towels from them as a convenience and were glad we did. There are no pantry items. No cofffee. Grocery stores are nearby. Checkin was a breeze. All in all it was a nice rental experience. We are looking to do the same again next year.

Best Family Vacation Home

The location cannot be beat; the views of the ocean and the beach path right next to the house made a day at the beach so convenient. Note that there were beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas at the house for us to use. There are also plenty of closet hangers in the house already. We did pick up a few extra kitchen towels and dish rags to supplement those provided. Enjoy your stay! I doubt you can find a better rental for a large group anywhere on the beach.

Beachfront rental - Blue Heron

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather for the week and the location of this house were both perfect. The setup of Blue Heron is also excellent for our purposes--two families staying together who want to be together but still have their own privacy/spaces. Nicely decorated, comfortable and right on the beach! However, there were some issues right at check-in with housekeeping: no sheets/towels were left for two of the 6 bedrooms, a full dip cup full of dip spit was found peeking out from one of the beds...just sloppy work. (Though when we realized on our check-in Sunday night about the linen snafu, I notified the after hours emergency line and they came right over with the missing sheets/towels). Infrastructure-wise, only 1 of the 6-7 TV's worked, paint peeled off the kitchen cabinet doors when we opened it, our master bedroom sliding glass door handle just fell off in our hands, the master BR shower was clogged when we used it so we had to get a plunger and get it to flow. I sent word about these items to the Hospitality app on my phone on our second day and asked for someone to call--never got any outreach. Renting beachfront is not inexpensive, so you do hope to have a pretty buttoned-up experience. Don't get me wrong--we had a great vacation in the house. But whether the owners need to get in there and do some re-con/refresh or Bryant needs to up their game, this was a little sub-par for the price you pay for a beachfront rental.

Son's Wedding

Great place for family time on the beach!

We had an amazing holiday at Wrightsville on this property. The house is wonderful, and plenty big enough to host an entire family plus plus. Two condo units combined give adequate space for gatherings plus privacy. The location is wonderful, and the parking is perfect for many vehicles if needed. Beach toys and tools on site! Highly recommend.
