“Cons: Smell- the air freshener in the lobby was VERY strong. My son and I both are allergic to fragrance and had troubles with breathing, headache, and rashes because of this. We also had to use our own soaps, though we are used to this. A good rule of thumb is little to no artificial fragrance for those with asthma and allergies. Breakfast- was a little disappointing. I budgeted our trip based on breakfast included and it was only carb and sweets. Example of; waffles, rolls, cereal, yogurt,……

“Great place for a solo getaway. Quiet and peaceful. Delicious pastries from nearby bakery for breakfast, and close to restaurants shopping, and Root River trail.”

“Staff was helpful and attentive. Breakfast had more options than other lodgings on our trip in same price range. Lay out was convenient for loading in/out and amenities. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Parking was fine, although the lot was small.The kitchen had a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, which was nice. I can't get beyond the skimpy, very squishy pillows. There were only 3 for our queen-sized bed. The pillow situation made for a not restfull night.”

“Staff was great, check in easy, breakfast sufficient, pool fun-nothing fancy but it did the trick!”

“The room was very clean and quiet. We will definitely be back the next time we are at Mayo. They even have a shuttle. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Cody at the front desk made our stay wonderful!”

“Odd odor with bedding. Men's dirty socks left balled up on the floor in the room from last occupant. TV on the fritz for 2 days and front desk said there was nothing they could do about it. Didn't come to the room to try and fix it. Property was outdated and dingy. Carpets were torn and walls were beat up.”

“The pool was much smaller than anticipated, but I didn't really inspect the photos either, maybe five or six kids could play nicely. The staff was amazing and efficient! The food was okay, hotel breakfast is always hit or miss and we knew that, we still filled up and appreciated the offerings! After checking out, the staff actually called me when they found my glasses in our room, I appreciated that as we were still in Rochester and could return for them! I would stay here again.”
