"This hotel was a swimmer’s paradise. Probably one of my favorite things was swimming when it turned dusk and watching the stars come out from the infinity pool. Also thanks to my Expedia status, I got upgraded to an ocean view. AO was so nice and this hotel was the best in the resort. It is also home to the best 4 restaurants! I didn’t want to leave the Riviera Maya Hotel and I want to go back. "

"Large clean resort. The beach water wasn’t all that clear to swim in. Good food and drink were decent but was hoping for more authentic non sugar based drinks. All drinks served in plastic cups. Restaurants missed creating an intimate feeling as they aren’t decorated much. I’d like to visit a resort that is smaller next time with more ambience. Beach restaurant was being updated and we had no notice ahead of our trip. Very safe and well maintained with proper staff that ensured top safety. "

"Nice pools, good chairs around pools, good service, good food but no beach; it’s full of algae, the chairs are old and dirty, very small beach. Old and dirty bar on the beach. One looses the experience of being in a beach resort"

"Staff was rude and no guidance which having different bracelets gives you access to different amenities and I was a Villa which I was told by my concierge that I could be any part of the property they kick me out of the Platinum bar for having a black bracelet. Second, the Buffet staff told us to look for a table and when we found a table which was not clean from the people that where just finished eating the staff said they couldn’t clean it that would take more than 30 to clean it. Main lobby staff were the most Rude people. Good thing I can say about the Resort is that the rooms are very nice and spacious nothing bad about the cleaning staff or the bartenders."
