"It was a great property, very peaceful, and secluded… The staff was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant are fabulous food… And the bartender was amazing. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"Only one elevator booked a room with 2 queen size beds but the beds were 2 full size beds "

"The hotel is clearly being renovated. Floor tiles in the lobby were broken and missing and clearly a hazard until they are replaced. The rooms are only serviced every other day but you are not told and towels and such had best not need replacing or you will have to shake yourself dry😀. The jets in the bathtub were caked in unidentifiable junk so skip using it as a jacuzzi. A sickly sweet smell permeates the lobby during breakfast there likely from batter used to make waffles and such, so we left and went to a wonderful local cafe named Libby’s. Basically, the cost for what it offers is way out of line."

"Staff was unavailable for check in when we arrived. After waiting 20 minutes or so we decided to go to dinner. When we came back the staff still wasn’t available and we waited another 20 minutes before finding another staff person who then went to locate the front desk attendant. This was around 6pm, so very normal check in time when you would expect staff to be attentive. "

"We got in real late. When we got up the sink in the bathroom there was ants everywhere. I was very disappointed. Such a prestigious hotel and to have ants. I am so afraid I would bring them with me. "

"What an amazing home! We felt so lucky to have the chance to spend time together in this special Glen Ellyn architectural gem. Host was very kind and attentive - a perfect stay! Fun place to hang out-the primary bedroom was amazing. Highly recommend!"
