Our biggest gripe, though, was that we were not informed beforehand that the pool was being renovated. the pool was a major factor in choosing the hotel and, apart from a ramshackle taverna, there is nothing much nearby, so we were not happy.」

「The Best Western Plus Larco Hotel is overrated. It's outside the city center (30 to 40 minutes on foot), the rooms are tiny and certainly not what you would expect of a hotel that is rated 4 stars, the breakfast is ordinary and repetitive. They also have a nickel and dime attitude that is deplorable. As an example, they give you one litre of water the first day that you arrive, but want you to pay for it starting on the second day. Considering the cost of the tiny hotel room, that's nothing...
