The staff was very friendly and caring, service was impeccable. The food was delicious, diner and breakfast alike. We have stayed in ryokans before, in various regions in Japan. Our stay here was one of the most pleasant experiences overall. Very much recommended!"

"Very good hotel and the staff were very helpful. Only thing that held back a 5 star was the hard as a rock bed. Room was great and the location was ideal. Short walk to transport, food and shopping. If you love seafood you will love Niigata and the eateries around this hotel. "
