Nice lake house

Rented the house for a fishing tournament. Having a private dock was great. Boat hoist was a plus. I will stay here again given the opportunity. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay at the lake for a getaway

Great place!

Ours was a short stay, but perfect location for us. Attended a family reunion and several wanted to check out the place and will probably try to snag it next time. Didn't get to check the dock because weather made the yard soggy and storms kept us off the lake. So many stars at night it was beautiful.

Perfect lake house , perfect boat house

Nicest place we have stayed at Fork by far . Screened in porch is awesome , view is great in backyard . We didn’t catch many fish this time but that’s the way it goes. We will definitely stay here again

Relaxing lake view

The cottage was lovely and clean. Sat outside and watched the egrets fly in a flock up and down the lake. I’m sure the area is very nice but honestly we never felt the need to go anywhere else.

Nice house with a view!

The property is very clean, well maintained. We loved the screened in porch on the back overlooking spacious lawn and the lake. We walked out on the deck and that would be a fishing spot. Unfortunately, during our stay it was very windy and chilly. I hope we can come back and stay again.

Enjoyed the stay

We spent a few days here in the heat of the summer. The place was clean, A/C worked great and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone (there were 4 in our party). We enjoyed the screened-in porch (although it does need a ceiling fan) and the patio. I would suggest that you bring your own outdoor chairs. The backyard and the lake views were great and we did a lot of fishing from the dock and the community dock down the street. There's a very nice park south of Yantis (WC Swearingen Recreation Area) where we went to watch the super moon come up over the lake. We had a great time here and will definitely consider staying here again.

Clean and Nice!

It was very clean and well equipped. The lake has been low for months for repair, price and photos should reflect that. The dock is unusable for boating and fishing at this time. The area outside for grilling is really nice.

Perfect lake house!

This house sits in an amazing neighborhood. Private, yet friendly, mostly full time residents surround the home. Located within minutes of boat ramps, groceries, restaurants, and fuel stations. The perfect location! If I were to make a recommendation to the leasing company …. Go ahead and put a king bed in the master. Floor space is nice, but we sleep in the bed not on the floor. Lol. Could not give 5Stars on the listing accuracy - the lake is drastically low and the boat dock/lift were not accessible. Would have been nice to know that when we booked. Over all a neat place to stay.

Great Lake House

We wanted a weekend getaway spot and this house was perfect. Property was very nice, very clean, well stocked with items you might need, and had a great view of the lake. The lake was very low, but a couple of chairs on the dock still made down a great lakeside view experience. Back covered patio and back porch were. It’s great gathering areas. We will definitely be back.
