Met our hosts they were very welcoming when we arrived. Our room was very clean and comfortable, our daughter was travelling with us she had a small room next to us. The next morning we had a full English breakfast also cereal and toast if you wanted it. I must mention the back garden like something from a gardening magazine, with a beautiful large pond and water feature.

Wonderful home, great hosts.

From the welcome plate of delicious home made brownies to the delicious breakfast before departure, our stay at Liongate House was faultless. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and our hosts Liz and Graeme made us feel at home. Will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area. Thank you.

Beautiful, and as lovely as the reviews that led us to stopover in this gorgeous place on our way to the Cornish coast. Beautifully appointed room, amazing hospitality and friendliness and we only wished we had had more time to enjoy. Breakfast was also so lovely and we could want for nothing more on our first ever English B&B stay. Thank you Liongate House.

It was spotlessly clean and we had a very warm welcome from Liz, the owner. I must admit , she goes the extra mile when it comes to make us comfortable. The breakfasts are extra special. She makes the bread herself and also makes the marmalade. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Liongate B&B

Exceptional B and B

This was an absolute delight. Exceptional in everything from the hosts, room, bathroom, selections of teas, extras. There was nothing at all missing. Lovely temperature. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of room. Free soft drinks from the fridge downstairs. Breakfast was excellent with homemade jams, fresh strawberries, raspberries organic yoghurt. Selection menus for cooked breakfast, fresh juices and plenty of tea and coffee all served in a lovely room. Can’t rate this place highly enough. Will definitely go again if in the area.

Comfort and quality Guranteed

This Bed and Breakfast is nothing short of outstanding a true five-star gem. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a warm and genuine welcome that sets the tone for an exceptional stay. I’ve had the pleasure of staying here for work commitments in the local area, and I can confidently say this is one of the best accommodations I’ve ever experienced. The service is impeccable, and the attention to detail is second to none. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with tasteful décor. Every element has been carefully considered, ensuring guests enjoy comfort and quality. Breakfast is a highlight, surpassing all expectations. The delicious, home-cooked meals include a variety of choices, featuring homemade bread that elevates the experience. It’s clear that the owners take great pride in offering the best to their guests. Speaking of the owners, they are wonderfully down-to-earth and genuinely care about making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Their warm hospitality is the heart of this exceptional property. If you’re looking for accommodation in this area, look no further. Liongate House offers everything you could want and more. I’m already planning my next visit for my work stopovers, and I wholeheartedly recommend this amazing place to anyone seeking a perfect stay in Somerset.

Very comfortable room, lovely breakfast.

The Liongate is a small well appointed B&B which is very comfortable, and provides an excellent breakfast. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and I have no complaints at all. I would happily stay here again.
