Great budget option for Yerevan

Nice modern (aka new) hotel in the heart of Yerevan - 15 minute walk to Republic Square. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, well appointed rooms and a good breakfast selection. Would stay again.

All staff was terrific— from shuttle driver to front desk, cleaning to restaurant. Some of the friendliest and most helpful people we’ve encountered while traveling. Would be difficult to find a better location. Room was small but well maintained and clean. Would definitely go back.

Nova hotel yerevan 5 nights

-We chose the Superior Room, which was clean and spacious. -The breakfast was simple but fresh. Cons: -Finding the hotel entrance was a bit confusing. -For the king-size bed, two single mattresses were pushed together, which kept separating and made sleeping uncomfortable. -The coffee served at breakfast was not good. The instant coffee was hot, but the milk added to it was cold, so the whole drink ended up lukewarm. -On the website, it was mentioned that all Superior Rooms have a balcony, but the one we received didn’t. When we asked about it, the staff explained that some Superior Rooms don’t include a balcony. After some discussion, finally they changed our room to one with a balcony the next day.

This is not a four star hotel. It is true that it has a good location, but it is in a back alley that is not easy to access by car. Every time you enter and leave, you must coordinate with the hotel to open the alley entrance gate for you. The water pressure on the upper floors, especially the cold water, was very low. Unfortunately, during our stay, the electricity was cut off, the hotel does not have any facilities such as a generator, and you have to walk several floors in complete darkness without access to the elevator. The facilities of the hotel are not at the level of a four-star hotel, and I do not recommend it at all for people who go to Yerevan for business. Contrary to what is written on their website, breakfast is served at 7:30 a.m. and sometimes at 7:45 a.m. instead of 7:00 a.m. The hotel is clean and because it is in a back alley, it has a peaceful and quiet environment, but don't expect a view or anything special.

The best in Yerevan

I stayed in four kinds of lodging in Yerevan over the course of a month and this one was the cheapest and the best! This hotel will hopefully set a new standard in Yerevan for reasonably priced boutique hotels. The only truly nonsmoking hotel I could find in Yerevan. The nicest staff. Great breakfast. Quiet location. In The middle of things. A+++

A couple of things to improve

The hotel is in a secluded Court, which is both good and bad. Essentially it is quite safe and you can park the car there for free. However finding it is quite hard, and parking can be quite complex since it's very narrow. We had a little problem with our room. Again good in the sense that they fixed it quickly, but bad because they knew about it and didn't do anything until we called them. Breakfast could definitely be improved.
