Fun Memorial Day Stay

Location location location

This house is perfectly situation at the very start of the beach. The view from the deck and just about every room in the house is gorgeous. The house is well maintained and very comfortable. Amenities were perfection.

Weekend family trio

The house was great and the view of the beach was fantastic. We stayed for weekend but would have loved to stay longer. The house had everything we needed and was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Whole family loved it and we will definitely be back again

Girls Holiday Weekend

The views of the beach did our souls good. Great walking paths around town and along the shore. The home had the perfect amount of space for us and a lovely kitchen.

We enjoyed our stay on York Beach in a lovely 3 story house across the street from the beach. Home was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Location was great, minutes from Nubble Lighthouse and center of town.

Beachside Beauty

Beautiful home on the water, convenient to Maine coastal towns and Portsmouth, NH. Amenities were spare, so bring basics like napkins, good quality TP and paper towels and storage containers or baggies for kitchen needs.

A lovely oceanside villa!

Perfect location to celebrate UNH Graduations

3 years ago we chose a York VRBO to celebrate a UNH Graduation. We returned again to celebrate 2 more Graduates! York is a little further but offered beach access and a relaxing setting for the extended family This house was even better than the first. Perfect setup with 3 BRs on the first floor, open kitchen/dining/living area on the 2nd floor and “penthouse” MBR on the 3rd. Parking for 4 cars was tight, but the views from the windows and deck were great. Nice bar setup with plenty of glasses! Kitchen well stocked and had many spices. Grandparents were able to watch the livestreams on the large TV in the living area. Couldn’t ask for a better place to celebrate

Beautiful Beach House

This is the second time my friends and I have stayed in this beautiful home. The location is perfect and the kitchen, living room and deck are wonderful places to hang out and relax. The shower door in the downstairs bathroom is broken and needs to be replaced. And the full bed really needs a new mattress and it would be nice to have a Queen in that room. Overall we had a great stay!

Great Place for Easter Family Vacation and Dinner

This home was very clean and very "homy". We have stayed in similar places in York Beach and they were very sterile and vacation industry basic. This place however was great. You can walk to the lighthouse and on the beach quite easily. There is a bathroom on each floor and multiple decks. I like that is is not directly on route 1 but separated by one home distance from the road. It makes the home a bit quieter. We had our Maine family over for dinner and there were enough plates and cookware. We would stay here again for sure.

Loved the beach

The house was absolutely gorgeous as was the location. We were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness....rug under table had shredded cheese on it, hair in showers and/or carpet in downstairs bedroom, and some food crumbs on floor of living room. Also, all 3 beds downstairs were not even made. Our sheets were still in the dryer.

Long sands beach getaway

This was fantastic property with plenty of space (bedrooms and living spaces) to accommodate a larger group. The house was well stocked with plenty of kitchenware, cookware, extra blankets and pillows, etc.. Great location with easy access to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is that the 10am check-out time was unreasonably early given that 11am-12pm is a more standard allowance at other properties. While late check-out was provided as an option, the extra-cost required to do so was a put-off, particularly given the cost we already paid to stay. My recommendation would be to reconsider the allowed check-out time so as to not make future guests feel rushed to get out so early at the end of their vacation.

Egress

We could only fine one means of egress, which was the entry door with the keypad. There is another door on the ground level, but it was locked and the lockbox keys did not open it. In addition, there appeared to be a door inside that leads to the ground level, but that was also locked and no key was provided. This may be in violation of the Maine fire code and should be corrected. I believe the code states that two means of egress are required in residential buildings.
