We used a ride share for most of our outings but we were able to walk back after the concert (30 minutes) and felt safe. Our unit had a few dings and scratches here and there but was very clean and included lots of nice little touches (soaps, detergents, several coffee choices w/ condiments, iron, hairdryer, etc.).
