Do NOT stay here-terrible property and abysmal management company. Property was sweltering hot inside causing us to sweat immediately upon entry and musty, dank odor. The windows have poorly installed vertical blinds that block opening the windows more than approx 4” inward which completely prevented being able to air out and get a cross breeze. It was shortly before 5pm when we realized we couldn’t even get windows open properly and called the listing number for assistance which routed to VRBO at a few minutes after 5pm. Expedia/VRBO agent and we tried numerous times by phone and email to reach property management for help but did not get any response until the next day and then it was excuses blaming us for leaving too soon. Management appears not to have visited the property for more than 48hours after our futile requests for assistance. VRBO agent reported that the previous rental had also cancelled. Stay elsewhere and enjoy York!
