10/10 Excellent

"Lovely time spent here. Quiet and peaceful which was preferable to hustle and bustle of York City centre. 13 mins to Rawcliffe Park & Ride and then 10 min bus ride into City centre. I thought restaurant was a little pricey, £20 for Fish & Chips but the fish was massive and was excellent. Lovely pizzas for around £15. We were going to eat in York second night but decided to eat again at the restaurant because it was so good the previous night. Lovely area outside to enjoy a drink. Staff were terrific, plenty of parking. Would definitely visit again."

"Helpful, friendly, professional staff. Good breakfast (but surprisingly no vegetarian sausages). Very convenient bus service into York close by. Quiet location. However bathroom VERY small (room 122). Booked a walk-in shower but actually had a six inch step up to it and no grab rails. Guests obviously using shower controls and screen to aid access as shower screen fixture becoming loose from ceiling. Size of bathroom meant anyone requiring a ‘helping hand’ but not needing fully accessible facilities would struggle and in the event of a fall, assistance extremely difficult. Reported to reception."
