The private beach is incredible — driftwood sculptures everywhere. Cuffey’s Cove, where our weekend events were held, was 15 minutes away. One caveat: this is remote country and gas stations are sparse. ”

“It was a very charming cottage, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, he made sure our dogs got along together and then gave us lots of privacy. He lives on the property, in a house, just up the hill from the cottage. There was a cute built-in desk where I spent some time writing. Lots of trails nearby for humans and dogs. A beautiful area! The natural food co-op is also a wonderful place. For those coming from the city, be aware that this is a rural area. When I arrived, the cottage was……

“Queen's Loft was a nice surprise! I expected a small second-story loft, but it was quite large with a kitchenette, nice roomy bathroom, dining area, living area and 2 king beds (and 2 twin bed that we didn't use), and lots of windows that we opened at night to let the cool, piney-scented air in. What I loved the most was how quiet it was there. Going to sleep breathing piney-scented cool air in complete silence was wonderful....best rest I've had in a long time!”
