This is the third year we have stayed at The Walter Raleigh Hotel. As always the staff were fantastically friendly and the food in the restaurant was superb. The rooms are comfortable with all the facilities you would expect from a hotel of this standard. This will certainly not be our last visit, I can highly recommend it.

All the staff were great, very friendly and exceptionally helpful. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day. There were several quiet corners to sit in but still feel part of the hotel. The food was excellent with a wide choice. The bar area was very comfortable and the staff exceptional. Access to the car park was simple with plenty of space.

Great Hotel!

Great hotel for the price. Pub and restaurant had great food and staff was very friendly. Room was a bit small, but very comfortable and clean. Very easy to book on-line.

Friendly helpful staff

Good location on the main road just out of town with private parking behind the hotel. We didn’t use many of the facilities so can’t comment on the restaurant or bar.

Booked via Expedia for 4 nights half board. On checking out was told half board meant 4 nights bed, breakfast and 2 evening meals so had to pay for extra 2 meals. The double room was tiny really only a single. Otherwise couldn't fault the staff

Had previous experience of the property and was impressed,looking forward to another similar stay. Unfortunately left with a big disappointment.The breakfast was terrible in every aspect ( full Irish breakfast) :- Ordered toast ,collected Irish breakfast which I found was already cold,twenty minutes and the toast still hadn't arrived.Staff didn't seem to know what was happening,I asked one staff member band it was obvious the toast hadn't been ordered .left breakfast area after approximately one hour just a terrible experience of disorganised staff, unacceptable meal and unacceptable Length if time for a simple breakfast.I spoke with the receptionist stating our complaint but received no communication.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Sir Walter Raleigh Hotel. It’s a gorgeous setting and our room looked right out over the water, such a view! Staff were lovely and breakfast was spot on. The room was on the smaller side, and the window could do with replacing as the bottom panel spoiled the view a little, plus we noticed some traffic noise in the mornings. But honestly, those are tiny things compared to how much we loved it here. Would definitely stay again.
