The hotel is near the Yodanaka Station, it takes 5-10mins walk. If you will drive over there, the hotel will provide the free parking. Also, they were so nice to clean up the snow every morning.
Also, it may take 15-20mins walk to the Shibu Onsen.
For skiing, it can take 30mins driving to Shiga Kogen. It takes 45mins driving to Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort.
Hotel provided a delicious meal and kids friendly. They provided a different set for the kid.
The Onsen is large enough and very clean. It opens for 24 hrs. It was so appreciated as the Onsen will swap for Male and Female after daily cleaning. So, the guests can use both of the Onsen in different period of time but it is not unisex! "
