"Hotel staff and amenities were excellent and room was spacious and clean. Only complaint is the smell of the toilet- not sure if it’s because of the built in sink, but smelled very strong the whole time we were there. "

"Absolutely perfect location to see Kioto; very close to the Gion district, shops and the river. It was guick to walk to subways, trains and busses. Tasty breakfast with a lot of varieties of Japanese and western dishes."

"You had access to temperature control. I ended up going in March, which still saw cold temperatures overnight. Heat worked great. Didn’t do laundry but saw a lot of guests in saying their clothes. Cleaning staff was thorough and had my room turned over once. "

"Would use again . Rooms very nice albeit small for big luggage . Eco cleaning daily rather than full clean. Property was lovely and very well situated close to subway station. Gym very good and good access to laundry facilities but machines can’t handle very much . Nice to have lounge area and snacks provided while waiting for laundry . "
