It’s a very cosy place. I arrived earlier and the receptionist allowed me to check in to my room promptly. After check out, another member of the staff also found me a room where I could work for two hours. They also helped me find the right transportation, even the only one that didn’t speak English used Google translator to help me. The reception staff is the best. The room was small but comfortable, the shower excellent. The only thing that could improve is breakfast. But overall, a very good stay.

Not impressed with this hotel

Fitstly we could not find the hotel nor our taxi driver. It did have a sign which could not be seen in the dark. Hotel was in a secluded area with not much around. I did not get help with the bags being taken up the stairs despite being on my own with 2 kids. The room was shabby. The curtains were smaller than the windows and were very thin. Everything was dusty and dirty. None of the lamps in the room worked. The fridge stunk, the beds were so hard that parts of your body you were lying on would become numb. The sheets were too small for the single beds that when you moved you exposed the dirty mattress. For £150 per night I was expecting a lot more. Not impressed at all.

My best stop in Poland

Wonderful ambiance in an Alpine-style B&B. In a month of train-hopping stays this was my favorite overnight stop. Great value in this rural-vibe small city of Zakopane, which abuts a mountainous national park. Absolutely refreshing after the ultra-touristy and frankly, snarky atmosphere of Krakow. All three staff people I dealt with at this B&B spoke flawless English and were all very friendly and helpful. In fact, on my second night there, one of the staffers knocked on my door and handed to me a sack lunch that she’d had the kitchen crew fix after I told her I had to leave before dawn the next morning to catch an early train. No charge, she said. One of the nicest gestures ever, in my experience. Top-flight continental breakfast, by the way. And a superb restaurant is right next door.

Fajna opcja na kilka dni

Super miejsce - na uboczu, a jednocześnie blisko i na Krupówki, i na Krzeptówki. Blisko bardzo dobra karczma. Pokój malutki i trochę ciemny, ale za tę cenę warto. Oczywiście na plus również parking - ciasny, ale jest. Mały minus za bliskość drogi i brak sprzątania pokoju w trakcie pobytu. WiFi tragiczne, ale w sumie nie to się liczy będąc w Zakopanem.

Прекрасный отельчик недалеко от подъемника "Поляна Шимошкова". До центра Закопане 10-15 мин. ходьбы. У нас были апартаменты на 2 человек (спальня и гостинная), очень понравилось! Есть бесплатные бильярд и настольный теннис, чай, кофе.

It is clean and warm place to stay. The staff was kind. Bit far from the train station but it is not that far by bus. Breakfast is great.

The room is cosy and the Breakfast is good (i especially love the brown-coloured marmalade). But the Wifi is slow & the floor is SO noisy. Seriously, I was nervous even a little step at night would wake the people next door up.

Willa Orla and Zakopane

My family and I had a great stay at this hotel. Wonderful location and actually no more than a 15 minute walk to the main "pedestrian" street/shopping/dining area of Zakopane. Need to take a little short cut to do that. Two twin bed room was somewhat small but more than adequate. The family rooms were much bigger and nice. Enjoyed the free parking. Very...very good breakfast. Staff was friendly although English a little broken. Would definitely stay here again...priced right.

Conveniently located within walking distance of town centre. Compact. Blinds on three windows would be useful for privacy (and protection against very early light) as our accommodation faced the main street leading into the town centre. Complimentary breakfast adequate. Off-street parking very useful although a little "tight".
