"This was a beautiful little place to stay. Staff were excellent. Shopping was right out the doorway and close proximity to restaurants. Parking was a bit tricky. You have to pay 1900 yen per day for parking and it’s about a block away from the hotel in a parking lot by a little yellow house.
Room was spacious and quiet. "
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance to the train station and just steps from Komachi dori shopping street, Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, and the beach.
The staff were friendly, professional, and kind. We arrived earlier than expected and were able to store our luggage before check in, which was incredibly helpful. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.
Our room was beautifully appointed, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. I especially loved the lighting and the slightly raised separate seating area, which gave the space a cozy, living room feel. It was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of exploring.
Having a FamilyMart right next door was extremely convenient, and there was also a large new grocery store across the street with everything you could need. We did not have a chance to try the hotel breakfast this time, but we would love to on our next visit.
We will definitely stay here again. It felt like a peaceful retreat, and Kamakura truly is a special place that has left a lasting impression on us.
The hotel itself is beautiful, calm, and inviting. We especially loved the decor, the bonsai trees, and the Japanese garden in the central courtyard."
"We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked good. Lots to eat close by. Loved the view. Very walkable. Beach Enoshima close and so fun and beautiful !"
"Courteous and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, easy access to and from the airport, great shuttle service, nice gym, nice pool, and restaurants on site."
"Great hotel. Staff are very pleasant and kind. They have packets of tea in the lobby with a huge selection! Jasmine, chai, green, red etc you name it. Spacious rooms although the bathroom is small."
"APA Tsujido has been a great stay. Staff are professional and courteous. The rooms clean and a great value. I understand this location used to be a slightly higher end hotel. So I have been told these rooms are slightly larger than a typical APA room elsewhere. "
