What a lovely family-run hotel. It was the best hotel stay we ever had. It was so neat to stay up on the mountain above town. The staff and family were so nice and the food was excellent. The room we had was great with a loft for our teenage daughter. The sauna area was great also. Definitely planning to stay here on our next trip to Switzerland!

This is a wonderful modern hotel. The room was great, great views. Friendly staff. An awesome wellness area. Great dinners and the breakfast was amazing. They will pick you up and take you to the train station for a fee. Easy to get there by taking the gondola to Furi and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Would love to go again!!

The hotel is in a very scenic location on a mountain above Zermatt. Transportation was easy with the cable car stop only a five minute walk to the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. We especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the dinner menu options. The family staff were so welcoming and accommodating. My wife has a mobile scooter and they drove us up the mountain after we arrived at the train station in Zermatt and they helped us to the cable car when the road back to Zermatt was closed for the morning. Friendly in every way.

This property was really lovely! The staff do a wonderful job making their guests feel welcome. The breakfast was phenomenal as well as the spa area. The only downside to the hotel is the location if you wish to explore the town in the evening during the summer. It is walkable and manageable at night as they provide flashlights, however coming back later on uphill wouldn’t be ideal. The taxi ended up costing 100 chf in the evening hours. For that reason, I wish the spa would have been open later to have something to do at the hotel. May be something to consider if you are young and want to explore the bars/ restaurants later. This would be a great stay for a family as they have a little playground as well. Otherwise wonderful stay and very kind staff.

A very nice small ski-in and out hotel in Fury (Zermat). Its difficult to fault this wonderful family hotel. Pretty swiss decor, cood condition, very friendly and helpful staff, good food, good location for skiing in Zermat area (with conveninet connection to Italy). The only potential issue is that its 3.5km from the Zermat village (so if you want to go there then spare 80 euros each way or 45 min walk up/down) Overall very pleased. Ruben

Lovely Experience All-Around

Hotel Silvana was something out of a dream, from the moment I booked through the moment I walked out the door. I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay during my 4-night trip to Zermatt in September 2022. Upon booking, staff is communicative and they're immediately helpful by informing you about cable car schedules up to the hotel and other transportation options. My flight was delayed by 6.5hrs so I missed the last cable car of the day; however, Martin was great with late-night communications and kindly scheduled an electric taxi to meet me at the train station (it does cost 80CHF, though!). Upon arrival, Tatiana put together a platter of meats and cheeses, a salad, breads with butter, and a glass of whiskey to help settle in. That food, the breakfasts, and the in-house dinners were each fantastic. Breakfast is included in your stay, but the four-course dinners cost 40CHF per night and are WELL WORTH IT. So delicious and it was great chatting with fellow guests! The room was exceptional as well. Extremely clean and well-appointed, very functional, quiet despite neighbors close by, beautiful views, and cleaning staff did a good job too. WiFi was surprisingly speedy. They even brought my roller bag down to the train station so I could explore town on my final morning. I cannot recommend this family-run hotel enough. They go above and beyond for their guests. Thank you for an amazing stay! <3 P.S. One major caveat, you're at the mercy of the cable car schedules here!

Es war ein Wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Wir haben noch ein Upgrade erhalten. Wir reisen erst später an und das Hotel holte uns am Bahnhof in Zermatt ab für CHF 20.00 da die Gondel nicht mehr fuhr. Da wir so spät anreisten haben Sie uns von sich aus einen Tisch reserviert im Restaurant (nur Frühstück gebucht). Dies war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war spitze und auch das Frühstück. Die Mitarbieter sehr aufgestellt und zuvorkommen. Ich würde das Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen.

Great lovely hotel. A beautiful clean little boutique hotel that is a very authentic Swiss mountain lodge with a lot of attention to details visible in every aspect of the property. That care combined with the friendliness of the owner and the staff created a very comfortable atmosphere that we really enjoyed. The location outside of the hustle and bustle of Zermatt is idyllic and beautiful and the integrated restaurant served delicious authentic Swiss food. Will for sure come back

Dany and the Hotel Silvana team, 24 hours a day!!

Due to avalanche risks Zermatt was cut off from the outside world so our stay was extended from 3 to 5 nights. Everything was done to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible despite the extreme conditions outside. Thanks to the whole Hotel Silvana team, we had a great time!

Un rêve éveillé...

Hotel aussi charmant que typique, accueil très agréable et chaleureux. petit déjeuner très bien garni avec du bon fromage suisse!!! service aux petits soins, dîner au top. Le personnel nous donne plein d'infos sur les activités à faire et pleins de bons conseils. La piscine est aussi belle que zen et on se sent comme chez soi dans ce merveilleux petit chalet.

Ski + Wellness + lecker Essen an einem Ort!

Wir waren zum Ski-Fahren, Essen und Whiskey trinken in Zermatt im Silvana. All diese Dinge konnte man dort wunderbar machen. Essen TOP, Service/Personal TOP, man kann von der Ski Piste direkt an das Hotel heranfahren und am Ende eines Ski Tages konnten wir uns im Wellnessbereich liegend einen Whiskey gönnen und entspannen! Das perfekte Ski Wochenende! Mit Arni's Worten: "Ich komme wieder!"

Perfection in the alps

Hotel Silvana is perfect - the owners and staff are wonderful, helpful and caring. The hotel is clean, modern and surprisingly full of amenities. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and in a perfect setting.

Zermatt n'est pas simple d'accès, furi encore moins... Tout d'abords à notre grande surprise Zermatt n'est pas accessible en voiture, il faut se garer dans un parking payant et cher, avant de prendre un train pendant 15 min payant également, marcher 15 min dans Zermatt avec les baguages, prendre les remontées payer de nouveau, monter a pied encore 5 min et vous êtes arrive.... Bref coût total des 10 derniers kms pas loin du prix de la nuit d'hôtel... Rien n'est indiquer à ce sujet sur le site de réservations! L'hôtel est sympathique ,les chambres et la salle de bain dans son jus, le restaurant est bien décoré mais est très cher par rapport à la qualité dans l'assiette.
