"Marvellous stay in the hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, quiet environment, room at good condition, stunning view for Matterhorn view room. And luckily no neighbours smoking during the stay. Just slightly far away from the train station. But walking distance to the Bahnhof street (the shopping area) and some cable car stations. Btw, thanks for the drivers introducing the city to us. All in all, a good stay in Zermatt! "

"The hotel is close to train station and popular spots for taking great photos with Matterhorn. We booked a room with a balcony with Matterhorn view. The room is spacious and neat. Staff is super friendly and helpful. There are numerous breakfast choices which are tasty and fresh. However, there is currently construction work outside the hotel that there is some noise during daytime. Luckily the impact to enjoy the stunning view is minimal. I will highly recommend choosing Alpine Hotel Perren for your stay. "

"The room is very neat and tidy. Room temperature is perfect and you could enjoy snowy view from window towards the backyard. We booked our stay with breakfast included and there are sufficient options for our breakfast. The hotel is maintained decently and staff are welcoming. You could get all you need from the room."

"Talk about 5-8 mins walk from station, but not really quiet at night, many ppl shouting outside. Also, I don’t understand why Swiss breakfast cost expensive but only provide ham, bread and coffee…….no heat food can eat in winter, a little bit disappointed!"

"Overall the hotel room is exceptional, clean and well designed. Our room has a balcony and a nice Mountain View. They also serve tea/ snacks at 5-6pm and breakfast is really delicious with a large variety of choices. The staff at breakfast were great. The only disappointing moment was at check in: we were lead by Google maps to walk from train station 5min to an entrance of the hotel, at 5:15pm, and turned out it was locked. So we pressed the bell but after almost 10min no one answered. We saw some staff walked pass, and they ignored us telling us to continue with the door bell (which no one answered)… finally door opened, and we walked to reception to check in. The guy was on phone with a blunt face. The young lady was ok, attended to us, took our passports, then she answered the phone and was engaged on the phone for almost 5min. (Staff who are serving guests during check ins should not take calls and be engaged in other calls!) We were watching her on the phone waiting… These two staff at reception both had the attitude and impatient look when dealing with guests. We intended to ask about tea and breakfast timings and dinner recommendations around the area, but we didn’t want to “bother” them and so we didn’t ask anything. The waiting at the gate plus the waiting at check in was disappointing. The nice room made up and we overall were happy about the stay."

"We had a great mountain view room that we could enjoy the sunrise and sunset of Matterhorn without going out waiting. Loved the warming cover of eggs and tea pot. Very cozy and cute."
