“What a gem! Cannot fault this b&b at all. We stayed in Room 5. We had such a comfortable stay - one of the best nights sleep in such a comfortable bed and room Great quiet location, handy to have parking too. Check in quick and easy. Great touches like fresh milk being available and pre-choosing options for a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Shower was lovely and powerful. Such a great stay, an example of how b&bs should be. Absolutely would stay again and will recommend.”

“My stay at Craig-y-Dderwen Riverside Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The setting alone makes it special - nestled right along the river, surrounded by beautiful scenery that immediately makes you slow down and relax. In the evenings I opened my window to hear the sound of the river flowing by. It was incredible peaceful. The staff was genuinely warm and welcoming. They happily shared hiking recommendations, and one evening when I went down for a glass of wine, a staff member encouraged me to……

“Spacious and clean room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cozy atmosphere and the inn downstairs was lovely too!”

“Property set in idyllic location, very picturesque and quiet. Remarkably spacious given size of property, great for pets with large outdoor space. Parking onsite ideal for short stroll into village. Pets welcome, but note not allowed upstairs which they fail to mention in advert. Appliances a little tired, w/machine unusable. Needs a little tlc, windows upstairs, if opened, struggle to reclose. Would I book here again? Yes, the good points outweigh the imperfections.”

“Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good.”

“We had an amazing stay here. The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. We loved the suite with its living area and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts could not have done more. So friendly and helpful. They also had lots of games and toys and a garden which were great for the kids. ”

“The farmhouse and surroundings are picturesques but the cleanliness could be very much improved. The laminate flooring is worn in places and the amount of rubbish found under beds and sofas was alarming. ”
