“El baño no estaba tan limpio como esperaba, en las uniones de las mamparas de baño con el piso se veía mugre acumulada por mucho tiempo. También en las uniones de los revestimientos. La ducha se veía fea, el hotel en general parece un poco viejo. Igualmente son detalles en general buena estadía excelente atención al cliente.”

“Excellent hotel in an outstanding location. We only stayed for one night, but everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, the bar served excellent cocktails at reasonable prices, and the location couldn’t be better—right by the beach in a very safe area with a visible police presence. It was the perfect base for exploring Rio. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.”

“Fantastic stay, really enjoyed it. My only recommendation for the property would be to add a wash station for the beach in front of the hotel, the lobby is very nice, but there was no way to wash your feet and legs off from the beach! Having a spray bottle is not really good enough, you need a garden hose or plumbed in wash station.”

“Generally overall a good stay and right next to the beach and Fairmont Hotel. Restaurants, night market and shopping all within walking distance. Good for walks along beach. Hotel balcony has great views. Gym is very very basic but a day pass can be bought for 50rs and there is a chain of smart fit gyms. Breakfast at hotel is excellent and would recommend to start the day with. Breakfast is optional at about 25rs per person. Hotel rooms basic but good. Overall a pleasant stay close to all……

“Great location and fantastic views, hard to beat for the setting. The building is a bit dated and the maintenance could be kept up a bit better, but apart from that it was a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it. One tip: upgrade to a luxury room for the VIP check-in and check-out, and have breakfast/brunch up on level 30 rather than level 3. Level 3 looked like a bit of a zoo, whereas level 30 is far more relaxed. Well worth it.”
